Coffee Curious Workshops

My Mother and I took the Brew & Taste workshop with Toni and it was an amazing and unique experience! We learned a lot (A LOT), sampled a variety of coffee brews, and experienced hands-on brewing all with coffee beans from local roasters. SO fun!
Toni was warm, friendly, and super knowledgeable. The space was inviting and comfortable.
Anyone from a novice to a coffee expert would enjoy this experience. This workshop is a GREAT gift idea!

I am an Asheville local and really enjoyed this experience, when I have out of town guests who are also coffee lovers I will be signing up again! Toni made coffee brewing and tasting engaging and rewarding. We explored the complexities of chasing the perfect daily cup through simple tweaks in the brewing process.

If you are coffee enthusiast, you must take this class! Toni is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Her brewing class provides a relaxing atmosphere and an abundance of hands-on opportunities. Multiple senses will be engaged as you taste, smell, and touch a variety of coffees while you learn about seven major variables of brewing coffee. I can’t wait to take another class. Toni is an extremely experienced, patient, and kind teacher. We attended her coffee brewing and tasting workshop, and had a great time! She will guide you all the way from the raw coffee bean to a finished cup and reveal the intricacies of specialty coffee to you. Individuals of all levels can enjoy this class. If you are new to brewing, you will learn many of the basics, but even if you are slightly more advanced, you will have a hands on experience learning from a SCA certified brewer. Lastly, beyond Toni's knowledge about coffee, her enthusiasm and excitement in educating others about coffee makes her workshop a joy to experience and very memorable.

The class was everything I hoped for and 10x more. Toni is extremely knowledgeable and challenges your understanding so you are really learning through this experience. Everyone from beginner, casual coffee drinkers to the specialty coffee expert could get something out of this class. Looking forward to more in the future and continuing my studies at home!

She took time to understand our experience with coffee, and led us thru the process, explaining the components to making the tastiest brew, and helped us each brew on our own. Brewing and Tasting Workshop with local roasts:Toni is an absolute gem! She radiates passion and joy for what she does. Very knowledgeable about all things coffee, and honest about what she doesn’t know. Not a coffee snob in any sense. Excited to see her business grow as more people find out about this fun, educational, and quintessentially Asheville experience!
