What a gem! This place feels as if you were in somebody’s cozy home, the atmosphere is warm and inviting! We went there for brunch and I had the chicken and waffles which was so delish! Our server’s name was Carrie and she was so pleasant and joyful. It truly is a great place to enjoy good food and drinks!

We had a reservation for four that ended up being for five. The manager made an accommodation, despite a very busy night with a full dining room. Everyone was over the top friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Our food was short of breathtaking - from presentation to temperature to taste, it was near perfection. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Next time we are in Asheville, Corner Kitchen will be at the top of our dining list. Many thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience!

I went to Corner Kitchen on Christmas Eve to celebrate after going a few times before Hurricane Helene, and it felt great to walk back in and see the place buzzing again.
The space is warm and inviting, with a patio outside for nice weather, and even without a reservation, we were seated immediately at the bar for brunch, which made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming.
We started with the Merry Old Fashioned cocktails, which were the perfect way to kick off brunch. Greg took great care of us, was fun to chat with, and made the whole meal even better.
I have to say that their burgers have always been excellent, but they are even better now with the Wagyu meat. It’s one of the best in Asheville, and I ordered mine medium, which came out perfectly juicy and flavorful.
It was a bit surreal to see the small sign near the stairs marking how high the water line had risen during the storm. Seeing what they went through and bounced back from makes me proud to be in a city with such resilient residents and business owners.
I’m happy to see Corner Kitchen back and better than ever. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it to both locals and visitors alike!

Unfortunately, this had to be the worst experience I’ve had at the corner kitchen… My wife and I arrived and we’re seated. Drink order was taken drinks delivered appetizer delivered then the waitress disappeared… Next time we saw her was when she brought out condiments for the breakfast that was ordered. The next time I saw the server was when I had to go find her and ask her about our order after watching other folks receive their meal who had arrived after us. The response was, she had given a dirty look to the kitchen and saw food coming up. When my wife and I received our food, my eggs were lukewarm. The bacon was lukewarm, and it took another 5 to 10 minutes to get the toast. the only good thing about the breakfast was a cheese grits. I did not send the food back… Too tired to wait and too disappointed. My wife’s burger was overcooked and cold. I know everyone has a bad day, but unfortunately, their bad day has turned into a terrible experience for my wife and I. I am the first to give incredible reviews but when necessary I will give a negative review. Hopefully this won’t happen to other folks.

It was our first time visiting the corner kitchen and we definitely will be back again. The people are wonderfully nice and the food was incredible. We were there for brunch. Had a bloody Mary and a sangria both of which were perfect. Also had the ranch of huevos rancheros and the kale with the chicken salad, both of which were outstanding. Very highly recommend stopping by from brunch or dinner.

So glad to see the Corner Kitchen back up and running after Helene devastated it and surrounding business. The service (John) was great! The fall squash vindaloo and autumn baby kale salad were all excellent! The vindaloo, in particular, was done to perfection. The grouper was good, but couldn't call it excellent. Needed a bit more of a taste kick-me-up. The salad is big enough for two to share. The atmosphere was great. The seating is a bit close together, but the noise level was fine. Unlike some other places, I didn't have to scream to speak to my spouse. Not sure but the ceiling in the room we were in seemed to have noise dampeners.

Today was my first visit at CK. My daughters took me for a birthday brunch. I felt the atmosphere was very cozy. I enjoyed watching the staff move about the dining room tending to their many guests, yet still taking care of our table in a very timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious! Josh was our server and he was very kind and took extra time to answer any questions we had. I look forward to my next visit-there were so many dishes I saw that I wished I could have tried!!
