The food was absolutely delicious! One of the best omelettes my mom has had in a long time and the blackberry stuffed french toast was wonderful too! Will return for another meal for sure!!

Recommended by our nearby hotel, we had a mid-afternoon meal and a breakfast here. Both were well-worth the price (reasonable) and made with fresh local ingredients. This is a family-run place and they value great service. It shows. Daniel S. and Asia S., servers at each meal, never left us without attention, answered food questions, and showed their attentive but private way of serving. Apple Walnut Belgian Waffle is a must have!

Hubby and I were in Asheville to see some fall scenery, and this restaurant was right down the road from our hotel. The menu is quite expansive (and the restaurant is quite large). We were there on a Wednesday evening, and there were not many customers. Hubby ordered country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and onion rings. I got the beef tips over rice, with asparagus and onion rings. Before our entrees arrived, we were served complimentary bread with butter and honey butter. Everything was delicious, and there was so much food we ended up with a to go box. (We rarely do that!) Our server was personable and efficient. All in all, I would eat at Cornerstone again, were I in Asheville. We thought it far better than the chain restaurants that are in the area. Do try Cornerstone; it's great!

Surprisingly excellent meal in a diner-type environment. The selections and price range is very good. Parking is convenient.

Wife had Shrimp and Grits which was fair sized and adequate flavor. My Seafood Combo was fried flounder, crab cake and fried jumbo shrimp. The five shrimp were not jumbo. The crab cake was real crab and average sized. The one piece of flounder was average. So the vaunted large portions did not show up at our table. The side of onion rings was the sole item I would term generously sized. There seem better values here than $30 for the Seafood Combo. Server (Asia) was friendly and helpful. Overall did not meet expectations.

Me and my wife are here at cornerstone restaurant today and the food was absolutely delicious again the spaghetti and the meatballs, the Snickers cheesecake and Claire our waitress. She was a diamond for sure. Great personality. Fast response brought our food out very quickly and everything was A+plus would like to give her a big shout out. Even if the food was bad ! We would come back because of her .

One hour wait for the food to arrive, it came with two wrong orders, and all was cold. The eggs Benedict were virtually hard boiled. We were afraid to wait for a correction as it already took so long. We did have a wonderful waitress but all she could do was apologize and offer to reorder everything again. Skip this place there are better breakfast places in Asheville.

If I could leave a negative review I would. We decided to try this restaurant after asking for a recommendation for a good FAMILY FRIENDLY restaurant from our hotel, and it was the worst experience of my life. We called as we were sitting in the parking lot with our two little ones because they looked busy, and they told us they had plenty of tables and to come on in. We went in, and immediately were told it would be a twenty minute wait but we could be added to the list. Proceed forward about 30 minutes, we were sat down, and ordered our drinks. Our server took about 25 minutes to get 2 drinks, brings them out and proceeds to set a margarita down directly in front of my THREE YEAR OLD. I grabbed it out of reach while she is laughing and cutting up, and she sets another glass down then spills an entire bottle of beer on my child as well as the table. Again, no rush to clean it up, meanwhile I’m cleaning it up and trying to stop my son from drinking it off the table, she is STILL giggling. I finally asked for the manager, and she stopped laughing dead in her tracks, and questions me as to why I need the manager. I asked her 4 more times, before she finally got the manager. After speaking with the manager, she promised she would make sure we didn’t have that same server and less than 5 minutes later the SAME SERVER comes out with our plates of food. I packed my kids up, informed the manager that we wouldn’t be eating here and I felt obligated to pay for the drinks since they were served. The manager fooled around with her computer for almost 10 minutes, complained that she didn’t know how to work the system, so I set $19 on the counter to pay for the drinks that were spilled all over my son, and left.

The place is nice and the presentation of the food was great. The woman that served us was amazing and polite, However the steak was extremely chewy to the point I didn't eat it, and so was my son's. Definatley not the place for a steak but everything else was great!

The putin was great we asked for extra gravy bc it was that good. The food came out fresh and hot. The fish and chicken were hand breaded. Chris was our server and he was very attentive and kept our drinks filled and checked on us often.

The manager on duty while we were there was the absolute worst. We had a large party. The room was reserved ahead of time so they knew the size of our party and what time we were to arrive. Instead of the manager helping the waiter they avoided us, not offering an apology or explanation. We waited so long to have someone take our order someone in our party took our orders and helped the waiter enter the orders into the system. We considered having our food delivered to us from another restaurant which I guarantee would've been faster.

My son and daughter in law rented the private room for my granddaughters 1st birthday. We had to have 15 people to avoid a hefty extra charge. Around 20 showed, some to just to drop off gifts and have a drink. There was 1 server trying to serve us, but was also triple sat in the dining room.
After 45 minutes and no drinks or food, one of our party took it upon himself to take the orders for our party. After taking the orders, he went to the register with server to help put them in!
All were charged full price not even a discount for guest who took the damn orders. I felt so bad for my daughter in law.
Just horrible service and management.

My waitress was unhappy to do her job, and at first It made me angry but after seeing how the managers don't know what they're doing, one cant make any drinks and the other had to ask a waitress how to do use the p.o.s. I think I understand why she was so unhappy. Food was grand but the head chef is a douche canoe if only his food skills equated to people skills.
