I have been coming there for a while. And then it just wasn't good as it was in the beginning. Now it's under new ownership, and it, is Amazing The food is delicious. It is so good that I had to bring my mom and my family in now. My mom brings the church members there. It is really nice to have a nice place like that. Good music, playing all the time and really good food. Is just a great atmosphere. And all the employees are nice and friendly. And even the owner works beside them comes out and speaks to everybody. I really enjoyed my experience there and I go there at least two or three times a month is just that good ?

They apparently "can't make orders from ubereats" yet they stay active on the app. If you order from them, uber eats will send driver after driver to pick up an order that will never be completed. You should be ashamed for wasting the time of customers and delivery drivers.

If you're looking for an excellent bbq place, look no further than Dickey’s! A little piece of authentic Texas bbq in Asheville, NC. The people that served us were extremely nice, friendly, and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and had a good atmosphere. Well worth the money.

The rating is for the service, I never got to taste the food. I placed an UberEats order at roughly 7:10 PM for latest delivery at 7:40 PM. The time just kept going up. I called and the restaurant stated they weren't taking orders through third-party apps, even though they received my payment.

After SEVEN delivery drivers, the app updated after 9 PM stating the order was on the way. The order never came, because the delivery driver chose to lie to keep the payment and tip. I received a refund, but this was ridiculous.

All this restaurant had to do was close the merchant system. UberEats can't close it FOR YOU. TRAIN your employees to prevent cycles like this.

Mixed feelings since the reopening. At first everything was great. Appears to be supply issues. We place our order online and sometimes they have the items and sometimes they have ran out of the items. I’ve waited way past time for the food and didn’t complain. I don’t like to complain and will typically deal with whatever issues. The order we received yesterday wasn’t good. I went in today to request a replacement. They said they could not do that. Started the carbonation issue is because another vendor hasn’t been in to do what they were supposed to do and it wasn’t their fault. The soda was undrinkable It was so flat. Was advised that okra was made 10 minutes before I arrived. It did not taste like it to none of the three of us that tried the okra. We ordered brisket, which they did not have available. I appreciate the call and heads up that it wasn’t currently ready. We waited over an hour more before going to the store because we were advised it would be ready at 8:45 and we really want brisket not chicken. It was not yet ready at 8:45. While the chicken had a good taste, it was not moist. It was dry and very tough to eat. And this point I wish I would’ve just asked for a refund, especially since they don’t seem to want to make things right when the food is not correct. I understand that sometimes things happen but instead of just not telling somebody that the soda is gonna be flat, at least let your customers know and give them an option to get a different drink.

Another time the order was ready. But they only provided the small yellow cups and told me that it didn’t tell them the size of the drink so they weren’t sure but the order online does say the big yellow cup again that time I didn’t say anything I just took the cups that we already made and did not complain.

One other time I wasn’t advised until I arrived that they had ran out of a meat. We decided to go with a different meat that was available. The sides had already been made and were in the warmer. After I said I would take the other meat the woman went to make another sandwich for me. She went to make it, but then put that in the warmer instead of giving me the food so it was all sitting in there for an additional 10 to 15 minutes after it was made. They were out of the big cups and they didn’t have any lids for the large replacement cups they had purchased. I said nothing on that occasion either. As I said, I don’t like to complain, but there is a level of customer service that should be provided.

I’m so trilled to get some dickey’s, I’ve been here a few times since Trevor and his wife took over and I’m amazed at how tender the brisket is. Try the westerner the bread is toasted with perfection. I’m also glad he found new employment that keeps the store clean and properly handles the food, keep up the great work! I’ll be back for sure

Please don't order anything from this restaurant he has not paid his employee he owes him over $2,000 when he came to try to get his money he fired him and banned him from the property he has refused to give him paycheck stubs and everything I beg of you do not support this business and do not order no food from him and he not even paying his own workers!!!

Such a standout!! Love the Asheville Dickey’s. This is the best bbq sandwich I’ve ever had. Trevor is the man - it’s my first time here and I’m completely blown away. Coming back for the hush puppies soon but it’s such a staple for me every time I come here to Asheville. Love love love it

Just ate at Dickey's barbecue pit. Stop when I was leaving Walmart and tried it out. Their food is off the chain, they give you a big yellow cup that you can refill anytime, the staff is really friendly I'm glad I got detoured today
