My favorite tea house every where; I wish it wasn't 4 hours from home. Every time I come through Asheville I have to stop in. The menu is so extensive, I can find a new food adventure every visit.
I have been here many times over the years when visiting. It’s such a fun experience and place to enjoy. They serve the tea traditionally like the country it comes from. The brown butter raspberry cake is a delicious pairing for the tea.
Dobra Tea is such a gem. I had the almond cookie and the classic masala chai, and both were absolutely excellent. The chai was perfectly spiced—warming, balanced, and not overly sweet—and the almond cookie paired with it beautifully. Beyond the tea and treats, the place has amazing vibes: cozy, calming, and a great spot to slow down and enjoy the moment. Whether you’re a tea lover or just looking for a peaceful place to relax, Dobra Tea is well worth a visit.
