Wonderful experience for lunch. I believe the menu was vegan, but the tea had dairy options. The cheese platter is really, really good. Highly recommended, and will probably return for the other items we couldn't get. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-11

I've been to this place one other time in my life and it was fantastic. If you are a fan of good tea Dobra tea house does not disappoint. They even have decaf, safe options for pregnancy! I thought I was going to have to skip it on this trip but I spotted their roibos masala and it was fantastic. I even brought some to bring home. Highly recommend

Hipster tapas and amazing tea offerings from this local niche of modern culture in Asheville’s heart! Frank and Santina rock the house!

Delicious beet salad and many matcha options. Lovely atmosphere and seating arrangements.

Something’s fishy! We ordered a matcha latte and were unpleasantly surprised by the notes of sardine and day old pond water. The vibe and interior are interesting, but the drinks and food simply do not keep pace.

I feel like this is the type of place people like for the vibe but not the food and drink. Everyone at the table agreed the matcha latte tasted fishy or like sea water & the bubbles teas were watered down, lightly sweetened iced tea.

After reading more reviews, other people seem to agree things taste fishy or like dish water, which is a very odd complaint to see more than once.

If you want sweeter boba, go to the one in Asheville downtown (Lexington). Ive went to this one 3 times and ordered the same boba order I get in Downtown, however, this location’s isn’t sweet at all, and there’s no sugar in the tapioca. The snacks are good and the decoration is great. Overall, if you’re just looking for sweet boba just go to the other location in Lexington or sweet and seats.

I absolutely love Dobra Tea! I’m a big-time drink girly, so this place is like heaven for me. They have so many different types of teas to try, and the vibe is so cozy — I could sit here for hours just sampling different blends. I really wish they had a location closer to me in Georgia!

A magical place where you inevitably calm yourself down and chill till the next episode. You can get some incredible flowering teas that are cool to watch them bloom before drinking the tea. They have quite the selection and offer several different tasty medicine balls to go with your drinks. Me and my family love stopping in here when visiting Asheville, NC from time to time.
