We just left Eda Rhyne Distilling Company and I couldn’t resist writing a review right away. This was actually the third stop of the day after a big lunch at Red Ginger, and even though I wasn’t planning on drinking much, the diverse selection here completely pulled me in.

Iris was the highlight of our visit. She not only served us but also made us feel at home and gave us such a rich history of the distillery. The owners have a foraging background, and all of the herbs used come straight from North Carolina. Even the water here is top-notch. She shared that they had just recently reopened after Tropical Storm Helene last year, which made the experience feel even more special.

I started with a flight plus whiskey and tried the Bitter Tooth (sweet and smooth), the Appalachian Fernet, and the Rustic Nocino. The whiskey rye was impressively smooth. I loved the flight so much that I had to order an Amaro Sour, which turned out to be an absolute delight.

What’s really nice too is that this place is kid-friendly, so it feels very welcoming. Honestly, this is a spot everyone should check out while in Asheville. Stop in, take your time, and don’t leave without grabbing a bottle to bring home.

We love this place and their products, especially the Appalachian Fernet and the Bitter Tooth. Staff is awesome and mixes up some great drinks. Oh and don't forget a 4-pack of amaro pops!

Spent an evening here after the distillery was recommended by our bartender at Red Stag. I fell in love with their Appalachian Fernet back in February when I had a taste at the O’Henry in Greensboro but had no idea they were so close to the Bohemian in Biltmore Village. Saw that they were a 10 minute walk away from the hotel so went on an adventure.

Mitchell was an amazing bartender. We felt welcomed from the moment we set foot in the tasting room and enjoyed every second we were there. The Amaro flight was beyond fantastic, and the Toronto was sublime. We’ve let our friends who frequent the area know about Eda Rhyne and would encourage anybody in the Biltmore Village area to stop in and check them out. Vibe check is on point. Couldn’t ask for a better hangout.

The atmosphere and service is excellent, but the alcohol outshines everything! I don’t normally like the taste of rye whiskey but everything is better when its aged in nocino barrels. Will definitely come again!
