The outdoor space at this restaurant it's very nice. You have a view of the mountains. The heaters were on, so it was very comfortable as well. They have an extensive bar menu with lots of craft beers and cocktails.
Server was Kat, friendly and professional, with good recommendations - fried green tomatoes were excellent, as were the bison meatloaf, Tagliatelle, and salmon. View was amazing - prices reflect that, but we felt very well taken care of. Went to dinner on the earlier side, before 6 pm.
What a delightful experience at the Omni Grove Park Inn. We had excellent service, although it should be noted that it was not very busy while we were there. Excellent meals and good wine and cocktail choices. Definitely recommend!
Got a table outside on the terrace with a great view of the mountains. A memorable anniversary dinner!
Excellent food and great views; great job! Be aware there are lots of bees flying around this time of the year so if that's an issue for you then you'll want to sit inside.
This is a really nice restaurant and if you are seated to the right away from where the most of the TVs are, it's quite romantic. We had an early dinner and truly enjoyed ourselves. The only drawback is the sun is shining right in through the windows, so you will see the gorgeous view, but need to wear sunglasses. Our server pulled down the shade which helped with the sun, but then we lost the view. All the food is incredible. I highly recommend the 1094 burger. Very enjoyable. We have been here as a family seated in a different part of the restaurant but this experience was different and better because it was a date night and we discovered a different section of the restaurant which made the ambience even better.
My husband and I had the Brussel sprouts and the chicken Tingo Tacos. These were listed as small plates..but both were ample portions and very tasty. We also got a craft beer and a hard cherry cider.. both good. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary..and our server brought us a delicious rich chocolate brownie-like bar and chocolate macaroon along with two glasses of champagne. Excellent service.
If I could I would give this meal zero stars! I should say we have eaten at Edison several times before and usually have a lovely experience. This experience will possibly keep us from returning. To begin with, upon our arrival for our 7:15pm reservation, the hostess was very rude. She had a hateful attitude and made us feel like we didn't belong there. She set a very negative mood that would not be redeemed by the quality of the rest of the evening. One of our favorite appetizers is the pretzel bread, in the past it has been very good. This time it was barely warm and stale. It tasted like a frozen pretzel you would get at the fair that had sat in the case all weekend. On top of that it is very small for the price you pay, but that has always been the case. Probably the biggest disappointment of the evening was my entree. I got the smoked chicken. It was so overcooked!! There was ZERO moisture in it!! It was really not edible!! The cornbread that came with it was cold and so dry that it crumbled to pieces when you touched it. It was truly a horrible meal. I should have sent it back, as I saw at least one other person do while we were there, but I always feel too bad to do that, now I REALLY regret that I didn't! My daughter's chicken sandwich was fine, but she said it was basically what you get at Chick-fil-A. And honestly, last night, Chick-fil-A would have been 100 times better!! Our meal was $100 and that is without any alcohol!! Absurd for what we were given!! Not to mention the $12 to park. What a waste!! I will think twice before I recommend Edison or go back!!
Very nice venue, fantastic views of mountains. Very attentive , professional engaging staff, with great knowledge of menu and suggestions. Great bar drink choices. Appetizers served promptly. Meals served timely. Only thing left: food was delicious !
Our meals were excellent and made even better by our server Dannel. He made things happen that weren't listed on the menu. And he did that without batting an eye !! We had the Brussell Spouts app' to start our meal, at that point we knew we were in for a satisfying meal. My wife had the Deviled Eggs app' as her meal, and still ended up taking two of them back to the room. I had the Smashburger as my meal and it took all i had to finish it.

Food was average and cold. Not a great dining experience but the manager tried to give us wine and dessert to make up for it. Fun location! Special to watch sunset over the mountains.
Broughy guest from out of town too see beautiful Grove Park Inn. It was really not a great experience. Food was mediocre at best. Service was incredibly show. I will not return and i would not recommend to anyone.
We love fried green tomatoes, but the appetizer came out cold. The server kindly got us another, but it was cold as well. You could tell it had been sitting for awhile because the creamed corn the tomatoes were placed in had formed a crust. Terrible meal all around and costly! Next time we'll head into Asheville for better quality!
Server was extremely nice and attentive. She brought me a different beer than I had ordered but said if I didn't like it she would be happy to bring me the other one which is what we ended up doing. I had the grilled cheese which was delicious. Would have been great views but very foggy evening.

Our first visit, after moving hear last summer. We had low expectations given that it is a hotel restaurant, but the experience was worse than we feared. Food was delivered luke warm, despite the restaurant not being busy. Only one of the four of us liked our dish. The server was indifferent and paid little attention to us. View is pretty, but there are many better options in Asheville.
