El Chapala Mexican Restaurant

Very good cheap eats! I've been here several times, if you blink you'll probably miss it or not notice it. Very cozy, has a bar, great staff, though typical Mexican restaurant in a good way. I normally call in my order and they'll have it ready in 10 minutes, so it's super fast and not that busy around lunchtime.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are good to go here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Park on the high side of the parking lot and it's easy otherwise not so much.

My husband and I came here on a whim. We’re from out of town and had no knowledge of the restaurant. Our expectations were more than exceeded! Service was prompt with a smile and kindness. The food was great! Flavorful, hot-all the things! You won’t be disappointed!!

The older guy that was bringing out the food was very rude. The chips were stale. I asked to get them switch nicely and he comes back with more chips and just throws the chip basket on top of the other one. Not friendly at all.

Service was standard, with a smile. The food was very good and came out fast and hot as you would expect. We went on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't overly busy, but not slow. I meant to take pictures but once the large margaritas in barrels and food came out, I forgot until it was too late.

Hate to say this but quite possibly the worst mexican food I've had in 50 yrs. Tamal was covered in cheese and drowning in red sauce with almost no pork. Chili relleno wasn't battered, was filled with ground meat...not a chili relleno. Refried beans were watered down and chips were stale. Even the salsas were bad. Waste of $10.
