ELDR is Ashevile refined. Accessible to all but off the beaten path. New explorations on the menu are elevating the menu nicely. Primary dinner menu offers diverse flavors, centered around French farmhouse & New American.Great for groups of 2 - 6. Relaxed atmosphere.

Creative cuisine for a variety of tastes and requirements. Fantastic service. Great vegan options and the kitchen can organize some offerings too. Our favorite restaurant in our neighborhood!

We ventured into ELDR for brunch on Sunday and were very pleased. Coffee and specialty coffees were delicious and nice sized. Smash burger slapped and the breakfast sandwich with sausage was fantastic. Don’t skip the cheesy grits! They were worth it! Overall we would recommend stopping by and maybe make a reservation, it got busy quick.

dinner for 2. easy to get to if staying at the Grove Park Inn. Bread service was excellent, the has pasta and enjoyed, I ordered a hamburger med-rare, came out med-well but they swiftly replaced it and gave us some credit on the bill. Interesting wines at good prices and some interesting dishes. check it out!

I was not able to enjoy my reservation. OpenTable allowed me to make a 9:00am reservation along with the company website saying they opened at 9am but they didn't open until 10am. So no breakfast/reservation for us!

Our meal was delicious-most had duck entree. Restaurant was loud and it was difficult to hear conversations around our table. Server was very good when we were able to track her down. Appeared to be shortage of staff.

we've eaten here several times, but the last two occasions have been sub-par. Appetizer and burger were good, but the pasta too salty. Ordering red wine by the not inexpensive glass was a challenge - the Tempranillo was much too cold, the Sangiovese was out and only a Pinot Noir was on offer. Our waitress did her best but seemed to covering over the cracks. Disappointing.

A really nice restaurant adjacent to, but not part of, the Grove Park hotel. It is a bit away from downtown. Parking is available. The food was excellent, and the service was great! I would say that the portions are more European in size. I would say it is a bit pricey which is why only 4 stars for value, but it is in a tourist location. Noise level can be a bit loud, but not obnoxiously so. A nice evening out.

I would honestly just pass, I was super excited to try ELDR out and was extremely disappointed in the experience. From not having our table ready down to the food. I also happily paid for the food and never once was asked if the untouched food in front of me was good or if something was wrong but she happily boxed it up and pushed us out. Needless to say I ended up ordering from door dash so I could eat something. I will have to say though they do have some pretty phenomenal drinks although we got two very different menus at the bar and our table and the drink I ordered was different from what the menu described (still phenomenal) but it never described a red wine float on the toxic boombox (Tequila, Lemon, Curry, Turmeric, Ginger, toasted rice, coconut) and the other menu said it was pumpkin spice.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had — and they accommodated my five food allergies with ease. Truly, a perfect dining experience from the wine to the food to the atmosphere. Would go again in a heartbeat.

The unusual pizza was quite good, as was the venison osso bucco, as well as our first courses. Service has improved somewhat over previous bad experiences, though still slow. Prices are quite high. Somewhat noisy, music, but that's mainly an issue in the big room with the pizza oven. Overall good, if the price doesn't matter to you.

It also was extremely hard to hear my partner as it felt like they had turned the music up to drown out all the people talking but it just made it a very uncomfortable spot and I would absolutely not recommend if your prone to over stimulation.

My husband and I visit Asheville often from Pittsburgh, have had dinner several times at ELDR and have always considered the food to be exceptional. However, we were a little disappointed in the Valentine's Day experience. Brightly lit, loud (which I understand is just what you'll usually get in a small room full of tables for dinner), and the pre fixe menu was mostly mediocre. We did enjoy our desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, and the oysters were incredible. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return, but not for special occasions with pre fixe menus.

It was Valentine‘s night and they had a set menu. We had wanted to eat other things on menu and that was not available. The food was delicious, but it was not very much food for the price.

What an exceptional meal! The DUCK, The FARROW, The GREENS PIZZA, The MAFALDINE PASTA all so delicious! THEN. THEN… the deserts came, Charred Pear and Devil Food cake deserts were out of this world. ELDR is running high on point! Thank you!.
