I’ve tried most of the kava bars in the area… and elevated is by far the one I prefer. Why? Mainly because the “bartenders “ are very social, kind, engaging, and friendly… I used to frequent one in weaverville almost daily and NEVER felt like I was appreciated or appreciated regular. So special shout out to Veronica who not only remembers my name and greets me with enthusiasm and joy but is just overall exactly why I’m done with the “other” one. Also they do so much cool stuff here, their beverages are innovative and hours are late enough!! Thanks Veronica and everyone else there at Elevated!!

I came here with my dog and I loved the people and the atmosphere. It was relaxing to read a book and just hang out while drinking amazing tea. One of my favorite parts of my evenings in Asheville. And they’re open late!

i have been a regular at elevated kava for about a year now, and i have come to know this place as my second home. every kavatender is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the environment is so cozy and artsy, and i truly feel a "come as you are" vibe. i've tried every other kava bar in asheville and none feel quite the same. their product is top notch and the atmosphere is the most inviting out of any of the other kava lounges i've tried. 10/10 recommend, love love LOVE this spot!!! the downtown location is just as lovely :)

visiting from florida with my significant other and the kavatender working, one of the owners, was super friendly and we bonded over leaving florida/wanting to leave florida lol super cute spot. parking on the street or behind the building after the restaurants next door close. hours listed are true. plenty of comfy seating inside, great prices, and overall a great vibe. i recommend the banana nut white chocolate kava drink. can’t wait to be back in the area and chill here again!

The kava is inconsistent. My last cup was practically just water. And the prices are double all the other bars in town. And the employees are inconsistent with the amount of stamps they put on the stamp cards.

A customer responded to the bartender "Okay Batman" and the bartender had a full on emotional breakdown. Literally this dude came screaming at these people and other workers came over and started yelling at these people. Left, never coming back.
