Went to brunch this morning and had the best service and incredible food. The staff at Famous Toastery were attentive to our needs and were engaging. The food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Famous Toastery on Tunnel Rd in Asheville.

A friend and I went here today, Sun. May 19, at about 12:30 pm because of the rave reviews. We were greeted with a sign that said “every server is YOUR server.†However, my friend got no butter for her toast and tried multiple times to get a servers attention by saying , “ Excuse me†and I raised my hand because four servers were standing in a huddle talking together about 15' away.

The food here was good. Sadly the service was lacking. They were very kind but that wasn't enough. The eggs were all ordered medium but came easy. When we let them know they said that's is thier medium but that they would fix it. So I had my pancake long before my eggs. Then when I asked for toast he said fine but then waited on someone else first. So I would get my toast after I ate my eggs. Finally when I paid my bill they under charged my credit card. When I explained they didn't charge enough I had to explain it many times. Really. I had to help them figure out how to change me the correct amount. Crazy.

We were looking for a breakfast place to meet friends early. Great options for breakfast along with delicious coffee. We all had something different and know that we will be back when returning to Asheville. The avocado topped with eggs was delicious and something I plan to try at home.
Very good food with table service and some unique options. Omelettes are fluffy and full. French toast is really good and bacon is excellent! Avocado omelette is great. Intimate moderately priced place. Like to see more local options on menu. Wry tasty and a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Wow! Can't say enough good words about the place. From the food to the staff and even the prices. The speed is amazing. And no loss of quality. I love it. Has become a family regular. I will be bringing all of my out of town guests here

They have great french toast that can be stuffed with fruit or other things. The omelettes are good and come with a side. There is a lot of parking and the restaurant is located near a lot of shopping and a mall. There is a lot of traffic around this area of Asheville

Meh. Inattentive service. Food that's okay at best. It was not crowded on a spring Saturday morning so that's a plus; you won't be fighting off tourists at a chain. But you can get a lot more bang for your buck elsewhere. Don't think we will be back.
