The food is always delicious, and the staff are very friendly! Very cute restaurant but a bit small, so make sure to call to get a reservation. The bolognese and mac & cheese are my favorites!

Enjoyed the food and service. The acoustics are not good - very loud voices seemed to echo off walls and ceiling, so it was difficult to have a conversation.

Food of the highest quality, outstanding crew, superb inviting atmosphere that’s warm, and supreme presentation. I am blown away. Chef Josh is brilliant and this is my new go-to spot in Asheville.

Try the specials! They’re to die for.

Wonderful food, service. We had a tuna appetizer which was excellent, ribeye, bolognese, salmon, panna cotta, pot de crème. Everything was perfect, I would recommend.

This place is delightful. Pricing is solid for fancy fare without pretense. Came here with our son and Charlotte was delightful.

Took a but for food but it was slammed and I doubt the kitchen can bend the laws of thermodynamics. What they did was make it worth the wait.

Mac and cheese is bonkers. Order it with fries for your kid and you get to steal like half.

Ceaser was excellent and actually quite flavorful.

"Espinaca" (sp?) was super yummy. A nice bit of salt and acid.

Bread pudding was excellent as well.

My only note is don't plan on a light meal in particular here because, while the portions are totally reasonable, you will order more than you likely need and regret nothing.

For the excellent service from Charlotte and company I felt compelled to leave this review.

Here for a bit and trying to resist the urge to go right back tomorrow.

Charlotte was also super sweet to our son and, as a result, he did pretty good for a little guy in a somewhat fancy place.

Cool spot.

I was in Asheville due to a family emergency and ate here two days in a row (lunch and dinner). Not only was the food off the hook (and I’m a foodie), the service was impeccable. Chef Josh and my server treated me like family. It was good to be back home in the mountains of North Carolina. If you’re in Asheville, FIG is a “don’t miss!”

Exquisite fried oysters with fresh watermelon salsa! Atmosphere cozy, intimate, and filled with sunlight. Josh, Charlotte, and Eli took care of our table with humor and joy and exceptional service. Must go! Often!!!??

Such a wonderful hidden gem in the Baltimore Village. Chef Josh and his staff were so welcoming and attractive.
Can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately I had high hopes for this place. Reviews were good and the food looked good and it was in a cute little area. I had the sardines as an appetizer and I expected there to be at least some kind of prep weather it be broiling the sardines or pickled vegetables or something but no it was a tin some bread and a couple vegetables. For the price a little disappointing. But the biggest disappointment was the risotto, it was raved about in other reviews so I figured it would be the best reflection of the restaurant. The sauce had broken so it was watery and texturally unappetizing, the grains used did not seem like traditional risotto rice and instead reminded me of overcooked white rice(why that might be I have no idea) . Ultimately for the price you are paying none of the food items including the cocktails were worth it and I hope quality control and general passion for the food served gets better at this place.
