I ordered a to go order and had my gf pick it up. I didn't tell her that it was a combo because usually the cup would be outside of the to go bag. But for some reason with this order the cup was inside the bag and on top of that the bag was really hard to get into. And the top it all off there was three employees there that did not tell her that there was a cup inside and just let her walk out without filling up the cup.
This is the Tunnel road, Asheville location. At 7:45 pm on March 9th.

The last few times we have been to this firehouse has been horrible. Employees act like we are a problem for coming in. We ordered three subs tonight and all were wrong. We ordered two turkey bacon ranch subs and they were cold and had no bacon or ranch. One steak and cheese plain but came with mayo lettuce tomato and cold. We love firehouse but are none with this location.

Worst Firehouse experience ever.DO NOT give this establishment any of your money or business.I ordered a meatball sub and an Italian sub,meatball literally had just the meatballs and NO sauce on the bread,the Italian had all the meat literally balled up on one side of the medium sub,the employees are complete idiots who do not need to be in the food service industry.Go to JERSEY MIKES.

I ordered two steak and cheese foot longs and didn’t have any onions or mustard on either one.It had a tag on the bag that they had been checked to make sure they were correct.And I ask the lady if they would be hot and she said yes , well they were not. In some places of the sandwich they were cold.

Please, please, please either shut down the men’s restroom or fix the toilet seat. It’s completely broken and if somebody sits down the wrong way then it will SLICE you. Ceramic is extremely sharp even if it doesn’t look like it. A broken toilet seat CAN KILL SOMEBODY!!!!!!! PLEASE BE MORE RESPONSIBLE!

If I could give zero stars I would, I’m currently waiting for a call back from the owner 12 hours after chipping my tooth just to be told she needs to check around because she can’t just believe me. Was told there is always a manager but when I called and asked for one I was told to call back Friday.WITH A CHIPPED FRONT TOOTH.
Edited to add that my front tooth is still chipped and this restaurant doesn’t properly store its meat in any containers apparently it’s kept in plastic baggies in the fridge. This owner is everything that’s wrong with Asheville. I’m disgusted with her and the entire company at this point. A horrible human being.
Edited to also add that this has been an issue with insurance as well that I’m trying to scam someone because my last name has changed due to a divorce. She’s a crooked human stay far far away. The one up the street is clean with amazing management and staff!
I’m going to edit this review everyday no one reaches back out to me. I would also like to add after the horrifying experience of finding a foreign object in my food the owner has yet to even apologize and refunded me the amount of only the sandwich before tax $9 on a $25 meal.
Edit to add a year later I still have a chipped front tooth. Stay as far away from this place as you can. The staff at the Patton location are amazing and worked to resolve this for me through the company before the owner of this store ever contacted me. I call as soon as the incident happened and was told it would be a 3 day wait for a manager, I contacted the Patton location and even though they had no obligation because they were not involved they even remade my food for me and had me in contact with a area supervisor immediately.

The sweet and spicy meatball used to be my favorite but the last time was my last. It tastes horrible!! What happened to the zesty marinara? Now it tastes like barbecue sauce. The provolone cheese looks like wax melted on the sub. Horrible!!!!

My friend and I both had hook & ladder subs today- plenty of meat and melty cheese on fresh bread, delicious. We were greeted with "Welcome to Firehouse!" when we came in. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. The best subs in town!

Husband came in at 8:30 and as soon as he walked a female employee very rudely said “we are pretty much closed I know your not about to order” mind me my husband was driving home from church and I pregnant was tired at home with 2 kids after a very long stressful weekend and all we wanted was a sub. I get if it was 8:50 but 8:30 like come on and you don’t have to be so rude about it. No my husband didn’t order, her just left. Never coming back there again also recommending other to stay away if you don’t want to be disrespected for absolutely no reason
