French Broad River Brewery

I got a cheese pizza with meatballs, it was delicious, I’d give it 4 stars (left)

My partner got a vegan pizza, and it was disappointing, we had to buy him a second dinner. It also had very little cheese on it. (Right) To charge $17 for this is excessive imo. You probably don’t want to hear his opinion, so here’s a photo.

Cute spot for a date, you can grab a beer and a show. The stage is pretty well set up, the music can be heard evenly across all parts of the bar and if you're lucky a bar dog will show up! There's also a pizza resturant, so if you get hungry it's possible to grab a bite to eat.

Good beer and great pizza. The music is excellent, but don't expect to be able to hold a conversation while the band is playing.

Not a safe place for females. Management was told by several people that there was an older man who frequents this brewery who was harassing, stalking, and threatening patrons. They were made aware that this man is a predator with a violent history and making the woman uncomfortable enough to stop coming to the brewery. While this man has been banned from other local bars, we were told by the staff that they would not do anything unless this man does something violent while at the establishment. Do better.

Y'all have to come to French Broad Brewery...the new pizza place is amazing and the beer is great as always, OG of Asheville. We used to spend many Sunday Fundays here watching football, enjoying pizza with our pups. Great Place!!

Great new outdoor music venue that teamed with AMH! Beer is mediocre.

Cool little place. Just getting back on their feet.

Went 2 nights. The water station was great and stocked with cups the first night. The second night there were no cups so I had to wait in line for water. Lines at the bar are really long. The outdoor food vender has bottles but the venues policy is to keep the caps which I can't stand. Other than that this is a nice new venue and I'm sure there will be improvement. I'm glad there is a new outdoor venue to replace the swing station.

If you have a band you want to see and they are playing at French Broad River Brewery, don't sleep on the outdoor stage there. I went in with low expectations and was blown away by the space, venue and overall set up. There was plenty of room, they had an outdoor bar area as well as the inside bar area. It reminded me of Salvage Station (miss that place). If I had any suggestions, would be to sell cans of beer and have a few more porta potties, otherwise, it was a fantastic experience. As a music venue, with a capacity of 1200 +/-, this was a great experience and will plan to go again. The few beers they had on tap, were very good!

Great outdoor venue for concerts. Great beer selection, awesome sound & lighting. Staff were friendly & did not harass people during the show. Will be back to check out on a normal day.

Saturday night, popular band, one bartender, 20 people deep for beer. Not good management. I won’t be back.
