Genji is essentially the deli section of Whole Foods that serves basic sushi.
When the lady behind the counter asked me what I would like I asked for a menu and was told they do not have any.
I then asked, “How do I know what kind of rolls you offer without a menu?” and she rudely answered, “I make everything…salmon, California, etc…but none of that fancy stuff.”
Hence I’m leaving a 1 star review, but in all honesty you should go to Maguro for the best sushi in Asheville or Wasabi, Miyako House, or any of the other local shops. Genji is sushi in name only.

This is a delicious and healthful lunch or dinner option. The rice bowl, noodle bowl, sushi and spring rolls are all great options! I love the seasoning and the fresh veggies! Looking forward to your opening!
