So glad we stopped here yesterday when we were in town! This is a must visit place if you are a french fry lover - The belgian cut fries are out of this world. I'll be dreaming about them until I get to eat them again! No other fry compares.

The tenders and fish were amazing and cooked perfectly. The andalouse and creolaise sauces were so yummy. This is a must visit place for us now when we are in Asheville!

Golden Chips (chicken/fish & chips) moved up here after one too many hurricanes in New Orleans. Family owned: two brothers, their mother, Big Mama, who makes most of their delicious sauces, and some of the younger family members. The cod sandwiches are large and divine tasting along with the Belgian-cut fries with creolaise sauce! We will be going back to taste the swai fish (taste similar to catfish) and the freshly made flan. Cannot wait!!!

Amazing fried fish, everything fried immediately on the spot to perfection (the fish was semi transparent and separating by layers and the crust was really flavorful and crispy). We had both swai and cod, the swai was a little firmer and the cod was super moist and would almost melt when you picked it up. We also had yuca fries which were delicious and the sauces too. The guy who took our order was very nice, he did all the cooking in front of us, was very attentive (I mentioned I’d really like some lemons with the fried fish and he added it to the bag), and gave us some extra sauces to try. Definitely recommend!
