Great restaurant! Stayed at the hotel a couple nights for a business trip. Ate here out of convenience the first night. Meal was so good I went back again the following night! Nice selection of food options. Classy and adult-oriented venue that fits well with the hotel's vibes. The burger meal is massive and delicious. Also tried the venison, which was amazing. I grew up eating fresh venison regularly and I can truly say this was the best I have ever had. Tried the lamb kabob as well and it was fantastic. The restaurant also features a nice selection of several local beers. Service was prompt and friendly both nights. Prices are on par with similar hip, high quality foodie places. Overall, this place is definitely much more than your average hotel restaurant/bar. I could see it being a nice date night location. 100% worth a trip even if you're not staying in the hotel!

Over the past several months, my work brought me to Asheville, giving me the chance to explore countless restaurants and hotels. Out of everywhere I tried, nothing compared to Golden Hour at The Radical Asheville Hotel. The atmosphere is unlike anything else in the city—creative, warm, and full of character—and the food is absolutely outstanding.
I found myself returning again and again, until it became my go‑to spot for nearly my entire stay. Every meal felt special, and the consistency in quality was remarkable. On my final day in town, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, and I genuinely appreciated their kindness.
Golden Hour became a highlight of my time in Asheville, and I can’t wait to visit again on my next trip.

Amazing food and drinks. Bourbon prices are very reasonable here.
I highly recommend the radicchio salad and the roasted lamb, these two were stand out for us. The smoke trout dip was great too, just not as good as the others. Surprisingly for someone who doesn’t even like tuna, these two tune dish was amazing and the chili sauce really brought home the flavors.

we stayed in the hotel; so was very convenient. order medium steak, and it was a bit on a rare side, middles was really hard to chew, but it could be specific to golden hour; i just go off the standard. chicken and rice was very delicious though, juice and flavorful. beets starter was great. service was great and atmosphere is modern and cozy.

Golden Hour deserves more applause than it gets, the service is always wonderful, the atmosphere is chic and relaxed, and the food is always anything but boring - interesting, flavorful and reasonably priced. I will return.
