First time visitor, I had the trout bologna and cheese sandwich. Highly recommend! I will be back!

Ridiculously overpriced. Spent over $20 on a small cheeseburger with a piece of trout instead of beef. The trout was delicious, but that's a bit egregious. Also place is super tiny and outside of downtown proper, profit margin must be insanely in their favor. I'd skip it.

Fish so good I returned months later and as soon as I took the first bite my senses exploded with glee…I’ll be a regular from now on! Can’t beat fresh homegrown fish

The blackened snapper plate was perfect! 😋🐟✨️
The sides were all also very good. I highly recommend the greens and red peas. The hush puppies are also very flavorful, unlike most places. 🤫🐶

Be advised that this place closes early. 🕖

What a fun spot!! Sometimes the simplest menus allow for the best cooking and that is certainly the case here. The fish we had was so flavorful and wonderfully crisp. The sides were all spectacular with special shout out to the mac n’ cheese. To be honest, I’m still thinking about the cap’n crick sauce. Amazing food and incredible vibes, a must stop in Asheville!

The fish sandwich was light, perfectly cooked! The cabbage and sweet potatoes pancake was good too. The shrimp burger was ok but I also loved being able to eat it on the rooftop

Wow, what did we just eat? They call themselves a fish camp, which is technically true, but I’ve never been to one quite like this one. Each dish was better than the next one. We were all floored how delicious everything was to eat! Maybe this was the wrong restaurant to start our weeks vacation because chances are the food is all downhill from here.

Our favorites were the Ranchovy Wedge salad and the Trout bologna sandwich. Each one was variations on a theme everyone has had hundreds of time. However, each dish took its components and forged them together into something truly unique.

Additionally, tried and true favorites like the fish nuggets, blooming onion or Mac and cheese were prepared at the very top of their game. Crispy and light batter, perfectly fried or incredibly cheesy.

If you go to Asheville you are missing out if you do not eat here.

Food was excellent and was prepped extremely fast, but made fresh when I ordered. I ended up at $33 for a fish plate (blackened trout) with 2 sides and a water. Quite pricey for what you get but the quality is good enough that I’d probably eat here again. Very small & limited seating inside. More room outside if the weather is nice.
