I love a Cuban coffee paired with an authentic bite to eat. Outdoor seating with some sun in the RAD (River Arts District) is always a great way to start the day.

Finally got to this food truck after too long! Best Cuban food I've had since leaving South Florida. Owner was friendly and informative. Black beans were the best, media Noche and everything was spot on. I will be returning soon!

Everything I've had here has been absolutely top-notch. The medianoche and plantains are unbelievable. So glad to have great Cuban food in West
I'm used to authentic cuban cooking and I'm always trying to find authentic Latin cuisine in Asheville. If you're looking for yummy cuban food that tastes like you're on Calle Ocho, this little spot is great. We ordered a media noche, cuban sandwich, and croqueta preparada. We also got mariquitas (plantain chips) and croquettes. Everything was delicious. Looking for to trying some of their other dishes.
BEST FOOD TRUCK IN ASHEVILLE! I go here on average once a week, and it is consistently delicious. The pork platters are my favorite (masas de puerco and lechon asado). Historically, I’m not big on rice and beans, but they are too good to pass up here. They provide generous portions of each. The tostones are fried to perfection too. Do yourself a favor and order a cafe con leche & maybe a pastry as well. Extra points for wonderful service!
I ordered from Guajiro Cuban food twice per week. I love their pork shock and congri. The best Cuban food in our area..Parking: Plenty of parking spaces available.

Nice Cubano. I liked the fried tiny potato chips, it added some texture and crunch. Staff was friendly and it's in a cute spot where you can grab a bite and explore the river arts district.

I had heard so many good things about the Guajiro Cuban food truck in the RAD, so we finally tried it. I spent a good part of my growing up days in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, where we had fresh-baked Cuban bread almost every day and Cuban dishes frequently, and we always visit our favorite Cuban places each time we go back to Tampa or Miami. Sadly, in my opinion the Cuban sandwiches, roast pork sandwich and plantains from Guajiro didn't live up to the hype. They were mediocre at best, and not a bargain. Most of the sandwiches we bought ($12 to $13 each) just sat in our fridge, partly uneaten, until we threw them out. Maybe we just chose the wrong items, and maybe this food truck has some amazing Cuban food, and that the owners are of Cuban heritage, so we'll try it again sometime, but frankly our expectations aren't very high.
Absolutely amazing Cuban food. You may have to wait a little because they can get busy but as long as you’re not in a rush, this is an A+. No one’s making a better Cuban in town.
Stopped in for a quick Cuban for the first time and it was very good. They do ave outdoor seating next to the food truck.

You can really taste the love they put into their food, and the pride for their culture. Their coffee and flan are second to none! Go support this local business and treat yourself! Reasonably priced as well.

Ordered the roasted pork plate plus extra beans and rice. Other than very salty, there really wasn’t any flavor. The pork was quite dry. The food was in desperate need of some kind of sauce or salsa. My daughter could barely eat her rice & beans it was so salty and unpleasant. I’m no connoisseur of Cuban food but I honestly haven’t tasted anything in Asheville that was particularly flavorful or better than this. Had it at the top restaurant in Miami Beach as well, and it wasn’t great either. The truck looks nice, employees very friendly, nice tables with umbrellas (it was HOT that day), but the food needs improvement.

Absolutely love this place. So proud of the owner for making his dream come true. The food is absolutely phenomenal. It's so hard to find good Cuban food after I studied abroad in Cuba, but this is definitely it. Can't wait to come back when I visit Asheville again!
