We tried this place recently and had a mixed experience. The vegan barbecue didn't have much flavor we ended up adding mustard to give it some kick. It came on sourdough bread and all the sides were a la carte. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and while the chicken itself was tasty and the slaw on top was great. The piece of chicken was double the size of the potato bun. The bun fell apart from all the slaw so I had to eat it with a fork and knife instead of as a sandwich....
the place is cute and the service was nice enough. but we paid $45 for two burgers with fries and 2 drinks. and a $2 side of ranch… and the food was good, i liked how salty the fries were and they have some fun menu options, but these aren’t smash burgers. they’re kinda just thin ish burgers. it was fine, and i get that burgers have sorta just become that price, but idk if i’d go out of my way to try it again.
My wife and I came here on a recent trip to Asheville off a recommendation from a friend, we were not disappointed. We ordered two different types of burgers and the sauce flight, it was all incredible. Very unique atmosphere, which to be fair is all of Asheville, but this particular spot had phenomenal food too and we would 100% come back given the chance. Very innovative and envelope pushing “bar food”, which I almost don’t even want to call it
