This place was great! I would give it five stars for food if it was all vegan. But four stars is a lot coming from me from a place that is an entirely vegan! So excellent work. I'm glad we got there when we did because soon thereafter it was packed! The server Tiffany was fantastic.

This is a small and popular restaurant. There may be a wait. It is well worth it. The service is excellent as is the food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options for your herbivore friends as well.

I have been going to Heiwa for the past 15 years. The food has always been very good and the waiters and waitresses are excellent, but unfortunately they are at the mercy of the person who is in charge. I feel for them because she creates an extremely stressful atmosphere. Which has been since Covid. This newer manager has been rude to me the past 3 times. She never apologizes and makes like it’s your fault! I don’t recommend ordering to go. The last two times I had to wait twice as long as I was supposed to.This time 1 1/2 hours longer than I was originally told. I wont be doing that again. In fact there are now much better places to go, and It’s not worth the rudeness or stress.

We went here by chance and boy it was good. We had the Salmon Lemon Sushi, Shrimp Tempura and sweet potato sushi and all were great. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly liked being there.

Heiwa was a lovely environment with great service! However, do not go for ramen. It was extremely bland— we tried two different kinds. Perhaps I have just been spoiled with good ramen in the past, but this was very disappointing. However, we also tried the shrimp tempura roll, which was delicious!
Great local restaurant. Good service, amazing top tier authentic Japanese food, highly recommend. Olivia is the best!

Ok sushi. Ramen needs some work. I got it with belly fat but the ramen tasted like pork fat oil. No depth to the broth. Not worth the wait when there's better spots.

Disclaimer: Did not eat the food here Placed an order for pickup and was told the order will be ready in 30 mins. After 35 mins when picking up food order was told they ran out of rice at the same time they were welcoming guests in the restaurant. No prior calls to inform they ran out of food.

Had an amazing time here for my birthday dinner. Food was impeccable and the fish tasted SO fresh. This is the best Chicken Katsu I have ever had. Our waitress was also very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back.
