Best chicken sandwich in Asheville. You actually get more than a normal $10 sandwich. Nice people and cool place.

Great food!!! The sandwich was big and juicy. The kale salad was very tasty. We ate outside. The service was great. Very relaxing.

Wow! This restaurant is great. A local we spoke to recommended this spot so we had to try it out on our Asheville trip. We went at about 3pm on a Wednesday so there weren't many people there. I ordered the Henrietta sandwich which was super tasty. The fried chicken is absolutely perfect, couldn't ask for better. The fries were amazing too - crisp and hot. We enjoyed our sandwiches outside on the patio. Oh and try the lemonade! It's made fresh in house and it was great!

Don't waste your money! Had to wait almost 15 minutes for a to go order, while a couple that came in after me got served before my order was complete. I wouldn't complain if the place had been busy, but I was the only one in there when I placed my order. The owner's other restaurant, White Duck Tacos, has SO much better service....too bad you don't get it here. I will not be returning to this establishment....

We stopped in based on a suggestion from a friend. I was a little skeptical as a flexitarian knowing that it was a chicken sandwich joint. However, the cashier informed me that they do have a vegan patty which I was excited to try. I ordered the Henrietta sandwich without cheese. WOW. All I can say is WOW. she told us the sandwiches were big but I was NOT expecting this. I haven't had chicken in two years and haven't missed it one bit but man that patty was DELICIOUS. There was a perfect amount of pickles on the sandwich too (lots) which is my favorite. The only negative I had about my sandwich was how big it was. Two patties on one sandwich. I couldn't finish it all and hate food waste but had no where to put it. But this place was very delicious and I look forward to returning again-- maybe with someone to split a sandwich with next time.

Mmmmmmmm so good chicken! So crispy and tasty sandwiches. We had the "Charleston and The Korean" sandwiches. Scrumptious and flavorful. Kale salad and fries a must have. Very friendly staff.

Best fried chicken in town. If they served it by itself on a plate with mashed potatoes and cream gravy, they would famous. As it is , they make great sandwiches.

Best chicken sandwich. Great outdoor seating just up the hill from the river. Close to area art galleries. Decent beer selection.

This place was suggested to me and my initial reaction was, "Meh, I've been to Chick-Fil-A." But, the pictures looked amazing, the kids wanted it and I trust the White Duck people. Not disappointed. This was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, without a doubt. The fry was light and crispy and the toppings were amazing. We tried the Henrietta, the Nashville hot and the Charleston. All of them were excellent. The Nashville was super-spicy, but in a wonderful way that was tempered by the pickles and cheese. The Charleston had great flavors. I'd order it again. Loved the jalapeí±os, especially. The star was the Henrietta. The signature sandwich. The buttermilk aioli stood out as the best topping on the menu, IMHO. My only surprise: seeing bags of frozen fries in the kitchen. I'd have thought a place like this would cut their own. No matter, I didn't come for the fries. My only regret: Not getting hush poppies. Ah, well, next time. NOTE: Obviously this review is for a 5-star chicken sandwich joint. This is not fine dining. You'll walk out smelling a bit like a deep fryer, and you'll go through wads of napkins when you it. But you'll leave better for it.

Amazing!! This is the "breast" chicken sandwich I've eaten. Makes me feel sorry for vegetarians every time I eat here, they have no idea what they're missing. I have yet to be let down and the staff is just as awesome. Don't hesitate, just go and enjoy! You'll feel full, satisfied, and guilty all at the same time.

Start your Riverwalk Arts trip in Asheville with a chicken sandwich at Henrietta's. Each one is unique and more tasty than the next! People are friendly, ambiance quaint, and it is very chill.

Massive sandwiches, really good, but very messy. Husband said his was a bit greasy... well, yeah. It's a huge fried chicken sandwich so it's not the healthiest thing on the planet. Chicken tenders were very good for the boys. Two adult sandwiches and two kids tenders. Around $40, a bit on the steep side for our budget. Glad we tried it and will be back if I'm craving a massive fancy fried chicken sandwich.

The Nashville chicken sandwich was really hot- and I am not a wimp- that's why I picked it; however the hiccups set in immediately and I had to leave a few bites behind. I also thought it was a little bit greasy but with that being said I would go back and give it another try because I did find the chicken flavorful and nicely breaded. The pimento cheese hush puppies I would pass on. Maybe because my mouth was burning off from the chicken but I found them to be flavorless and needed something... the place was reasonably priced and service was quick so I would give it another chance.
