High Climate Tea Company

This was a recommendation from multiple traveling friends and family. We completely enjoyed our experience. This was our first time in so we did the tea tasting. It was very fairly priced and we gained a ton of knowledge. The owner, Hunter (I believe), seemed to really be in his element and didn't seem uncomfortable holding court.
We were very happy to find out they ship tea all over the world.

I stop here every time I'm in Asheville. The tea is wonderful, and the vibe is incredibly cozy. I wish they were still doing the food since the desserts were delicious.

The owner is an incredible intelligent guy who really cares about his craft. Would recommend to anyone (if you like tea). We didn't do the tea tasting but it looked fun.

High Climate is one of the coolest places in Asheville, hands-down. The space is beautifully designed and a wonderfully relaxing place to hang out and enjoy a pot of tea. The incredible knowledge and excitement of the owner and staff makes the tea tastings a real event—give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the conversation and all the details about the history, science, and culture of tea! This is both a place I love to visit as a local and one of my go-to places for bringing visiting friends and family.

An absolutely unique & one of a kind place. If you are a tea lover, doing the tea tasting is a must. The owner is very knowledgeable & lively. My husband and I loved our tea tasting! We will surely be back.

This was literally a dream experience. Hunter was absolutely wonderful, helpful and an amazing host. Learned so much from him and really enjoyed the atmosphere in there. Could’ve stayed all day!!! The energy of the whole place flowed beautifully and is gorgeously organized, decorated and curated. One of the best experiences of my life. Can finally say I’ve had an authentic ceremonial tea experience. And of course the tea was highest grade I’ve had and they had more than I was expecting to choose from. I finally bought my dream tea pot plus some other goodies! Will never forget this place and I hope to be back so soon.

All of the reviews have said enough, so all im gonna say is come here. Its like stepping into another dimension which is where tea rules all and it is heaven. I've never been in such a nice tea shop before in my life.

Sit at the bar for a tea flight and sample different types of tea or sit in the back lounge and relax with a pot of tea solo or with loved ones, buy some incredible high quality tea, tea pots, tea trays, cups and more, or just stop in and make new friends. It’s always a fun time in there!

The shop is beautifully designed, the teas are world-class (owner travels to china every year to pick them out), and the service is great.

Best tea shop in town!

Went into the shop because I’d heard good things about it but my friends and I decided to also do a tea tasting. The owner, Hunter, was extremely kind and knowledgeable. The shop was beautiful and had such a calming atmosphere. Overall it was truly an enjoyable, delicious learning experience. Would 100% go again for the vibes and Hunter’s recommendations

Best teahouse in Asheville for sure. The decorations are beautiful, the natural light is amazing, and Hunter's knowledge of tea is unsurpassed.

Came in with family and were ignored by the guy with the beard and the ponytail. Would have waited but he couldn't even be bothered to greet us or the other couple waiting patiently.

Do not miss this gem down a side street in Asheville! The owner is very knowledgeable and imports wonderful Asian teas and tea wares. The tea tasting is highly recommended. You can buy teas to go, in bulk or you can sit down a lovely peaceful seating area and have a pot of your selected tea.

Just finished a tea flight with the owner. It was such a relaxing way to learn new things and enjoy tea. The passion and care with which he runs this shop is reason enough to visit. We ended up buying a tea set on the spot!
