Nice location and friendly staff; but yikes, almost $5 for a bagel with cream cheese?? Definitely not a one-dollar sign coffee shop.

High Five Coffee in Asheville lives up to its funky vibe with an amazing warm banana chocolate chip muffin that's simply divine. Their coffee is excellent, and the service is always friendly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit spot for coffee lovers!

Second time here, first experience was just as good as this one.Pros: Very cool menu, with innovative offerings. Taste 10/10, baristas choice with nutmeg, cinnamon, sweetener, walnut, in a flat white, latte art off the chain. House-made creations and flavors. Strong espresso complimented the latte. Love the interior, long high tables and cute elevated table/chair combos. The best part about this place is that you cant go wrong in that their baristas are all very well trained and their offerings are guaranteed to be tasty.Cons: Place is often packed with people sitting down and working so it can be hard to get a table at peak hours. That and while the baristas are very knowledgeable, their attitudes comes across that you are annoying them. Even being said, this is still one of my go-to places in Asheville since their coffee is that good.

While in Asheville, I needed my coffee, espresso fix and this place was what I needed! Very chill atmosphere with not just coffee but pastries to indulge yourself with. I got coffee with espresso shots (and refills) several times during my short vacation. When I was there it was bitter cold and since I did not want cold coffee or a cold head , I also purchased an insulated coffee cup (which worked amazingly well) and a beanie to help keep my head warm. Just a quick FYI.. if you buy one of their cups, your first coffee is free!

Watched the barista move the steamer bar with his bare hand then proceed to make my Chai Latte. Totally a violation of health code standards and disgusting. I’m done…they’re always over crowded anyway.

Chill vibes, quick service and the best matcha latte.

The vibe is modern chill and the pastries, from West End Bakery, are flawless. I always drink my brew strong and black but I ordered the Cesspool of Cinnamon, because how could you possibly not, and bam - top 5 coffee creations of all time.Vegetarian options: Adequate given the overall relatively limited scope of the coffee shop menu
