This was the worst chana masala I ever had. It was dripping in oil. Not only did it cause a mess, it was unappetizing and didn't taste good. Avoid this dish.

Vegetable Biryani came out in quite a large portion that I wasn’t unhappy about the price. And it was soo tasty too! Was given extra raita to go!

Y'all ever have a meal that makes you shudder with anticipation? Neither had I until unveiling a meal so exquisite, my eyes began to water as I became lost in the flavorful tempest of spice and perfection. I will never order Indian food from anywhere else ever again. 11/10 this place is too damn good!

I was grabbing Togo. They pointed at a box and didnt explain anything. So I fill the box, and when he weighs it it’s 36$ plus tax so I said will it be 20$ if I eat it here. He said yes so to avoid paying 40$ for one meal I sat there and ate it even though I was not feeling well. The only decent food was the naan and garbanzo beans. The desert was way too sweet with sugar. I’m used to andazz where you fill up a Togo and they charge you the same price. The quality of food at India garden wasn’t very good, much better restaurants in town with some common sense and will at least explain how their buffet works so you’re not in an awkward situation. Also the guy that checked me out was rude when I was trying to understand how they operate their buffet. It was just terrible, I definitely won’t be going back. I ended up eating some naan and garbanzo beans for 20$😆 lesson learned

Excellent food. The mild option was a bit spicy tho so be careful. Rice was cooked great and the Naan was delicious. Make sure get the mango lassi for a delicious mango yogurt drink. 4 star reviews had us skeptical, but now looking at them, they all seem very trivial. 5 Stars for sure.

Super expensive. I don't eat a lot at one time. The flavors were very bland. $$$ We will never go back again. People were nice.

Good food, nothing bad. It has been our family go-to where everyone can eat something.

To start we expected the buffet as google said it was all you can eat, this only applies at lunch. Our food(which was essentially bread, sauce, and an appetizer) took almost 30 minutes to receive which was especially disappointing considering we were extremely hungry and expected an immediate buffet. The bathroom was not clean and smelt strongly of chlorine and the boothe we were seated in was broken. I also ordered a sauce as a side and then was given a large bowl costing double what i ordered. The keema naan appeared to have no potatoes and barely any chicken, I got two orders of it and it barely had the amount one order had(compared to my friends order). Overall it was not as advertised and hopefully they will improve but until then we will not be returning.

I grew up in the UK where Indian is like Mexican - available everywhere - and this is the best Indian I've had since I have lived in the US (since 96)

they gave us six overcooked chicken nuggets for $13

High priced with very minimal dishes. I believe there were just 7 or 8 dishes including salads. One or 2 dishes were tasty but rest were bad. Bhatura was just like a hard shell taco. Even the raita was bad. Chicken dishes were really bad. Never coming back again.

Easily my favorite Indian restaurant in the Asheville area (followed by Cinnamon Kitchen and then Andaaz)... I'm happy they brought the buffet back post covid. I've eaten from the menu plenty here but I prefer the variety the buffet offers. I can't say I've disliked anything I've tasted and the conversation tends to involve exclaiming how good it all is and how we really shouldn't eat any more... but do. I highly recommend Indian Garden or either of the 2 I mentioned above if you're looking for good Indian in Asheville.

We chose this Indian restaurant because it is located in a large shopping center with lots of parking. We were greeted by a friendly woman as soon as we entered. She directed us to a table, took our drink orders and pointed out the buffet. There were so many options to choose from. I opted to try a little of everything. It was all very good.
