The owners of this establishment have a superiority complex and they invite people in their who reject anything new and they try to keep the Asheville hierarchy and cool thing going when none of them are cool

Service was slow but at no fault of the servers, it was a packed house and definitely could have used more staff. Everyone was friendly, food wad good, and the live music was excellent. We weren't in a hurry so it was no big deal, but it took about a half hour to get our check when we were done so perhaps be mindful of that before going here.

Thank you Woody and family...for so many wonderful achievements...From the very beginning, your decision to undertake the management of Isis when you couldn't find anyone willing to do it, for sharing with Asheville what you've achieved over the decade, for the level of outstanding musicians you've engaged, for the quality of food that has remained consistent from day one, for a welcoming staff so critical in a venue like Isis...for the dedication to maintaining the standard of excellence and attention to detail that is so hard to do (especially given the challenges) along the way). Enjoy a well deserved (delayed)retirement. Your hope to find a successor is admirable. Good luck in the search. As has always been the case, the food and service was excellent and the show was over the top.

We love going here-- getting a table with friends- having a really good meal- and then being right up-front near the musicians for really outstanding shows. We have been so lucky to have this renovated theater rejuvinated as an entertainment venue. We were there for its start - and are sad to see the present management close after December FOR A WELL DESERVED 2ND RETIREMENT. . The sound system is the very best- the work that Scott Woody has done is amazing. It's been one of the best things - in Asheville area . I hope it can continue "as is" with new management. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING THEATER !

Great place to have dinner and a show. Thanks for having Adam Ezra Group here. Hope you bring them back again.

We just purchased a place in black mountain. One of the big draws to living here is Isis Music Hall. There aren’t many places that you can sit and have a fantastic meal and then listen to great music after. This is a unique music experience and drew us to want to live near Isis. We try to see a show every month. There’s so many favorites. Queen Bee is a must see. We’ve gotten to hear some great musicians there. I highly recommend it

We've just discovered this gem and had plans to return for many of the wonderful music shows. We loved being able to share a seated meal while waiting for the band to perform. Everyone has been so kind to us and your family has definitely brought a wonderful eclectic mix of music to the mountains. We'll miss you! Our Best to You! Tom and Alice Lance

Dear Scott and the IMH Family, Mark and I appreciate all of you so very much. It's with great joy in our hearts that we say to you, "We're excited for you to now have the time to love and enjoy your family!" Running a business with as many intricate layers as Isis Music Hall & Kitchen most certainly requires family to come second, often times even further down the chain of daily responsibilities. Your kindness to us during COVID by featuring Marks band The Travelling Pilsbury's not just once, but two times in 2021, helped us get to this side of the pandemic with the guitar bar still in tact. Your family's sense of community and love of music has been a beacon of light and positivity when we've gone through rough times of our own. Please know our hearts are with you and we hope to see you walk in our doors someday soon, so that we may extend our gifts of music and community to you. All our best Julia & Mark Goldthwaite, Asheville Guitar Bar

I try to go 2x month it's a great 2 hrs up in the lounge. Great music. The food is delicious or just a glass of wine. Downstairs venue is very nice too.

Service was very slow; it took one hour before we received our dinners. The food was Luke warm like our waiter forgot about them. Or impressed give the cost.

cool venue, incredible food, and fantastic music. We went and saw Queen Bee and the honey lovers, amazing band and a perfect place to see them. we had bar seats, I should have gotten my tickets earlier so we could get a table, and there wasn't any dancing at this show, but still an awesome experience. I can't wait to take my wife back again.

My wife is a travel nurse and we are currently doing a contract in Asheville. We came to see Jig Jam when my mother came to visit. Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere they create there is spectacular! We came back for another show when my Aunt and Uncle came to visit. My uncle works in the sound industry and was blown away by the acoustics and the intimacy of the concert with the band. Food is also delicious.! All around a must go to place in Asheville!

The upstairs lounge is a great place for listening to single artists. The staff was extraordinary. Everyone was really helpful. The food was fantastic and service was on the spot.

Wow, it's nice to be back at Isis enjoying the live entertainment provided by AmiciMusic. The upstairs area is a perfect setting for the intimacy of chamber music. No microphones/soundboard, just real beautiful sound provided by virtuoso performers. Parking is complementary if you prepay for tickets and use the emailed code. Dinner menu has a variety of options. The arugula/fennel salad is delicious. The flounder sandwich is open-faced, generous and tasted okay. Jay was our server and was spot on with the attention and service he provided us. It's easy to reach the twenty dollar minimum per person. So buy your ticket in advance, enjoy some classical music, receive a music history lesson from Dan Wiesner, and eat/drink in a calm cozy setting.

We're new to Asheville and we were driving around one day and I saw this theater and originally thought it was a movie theater LOL. When I got home I looked it up and I saw that it was a musical venue and I was very excited. Also it's a dinner venue as well so you can go there and listen to music and get a little bite to eat. All good. Everyone from beginning to end was super nice and accommodating. The phone call to make the reservation was great, the host who sat us was super nice, our server was fantastic and the food was very good. The music was also great but you may not get that every time depending on who's there but I'm going to guess that everyone that they allow in is super talented. We will definitely be going back. The only caveat to the whole thing is that we like to have a drink and a glass of wine when we go out and I found that the wine selection wasn't large and it was expensive with not much by the glass. I ended up ordering a half of a bottle and it really wasn't very good so I was disappointed. That was the only downer of the entire night. Everything else was amazing. I would definitely recommend this venue and we definitely will be going back.
