Came in at 10:03 and was immediately looked at like I was insane for daring to come in an hour before close, mind you an entire hour. The supervisor loudly told the other employees that “we have to serve them till 10:15. Very rude literally no reason for all that. If you don’t want the customers just lock your doors.

We came in around 10pm (they close at 11) and immediately felt unwelcome. The staff literally looked at us, looked at each other, and then one employee said right in front of us, “We have to take them up until close, even though it sucks.” Not even quietly — just out in the open like we weren’t standing there.

After that, everyone went silent and the whole atmosphere was awkward. If you’re open until 11, customers coming in at 10 shouldn’t be treated like an inconvenience. It’s especially wild that nobody even tried to step away before complaining — crazy work.

The food might’ve been fine ( it wasn’t), but the service made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome the entire time. Definitely not a great experience and I used to love this place.

We are Itto regulars, for dine in and take out, but tonight was a miss. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We did take out with 2 ramens, 2 tapas, and 2 orders of mochi. We also ordered 1 extra ramen egg. We checked the bag before leaving and everything seemed fine, but when we got home the extra egg was missing. I put the mochi in the freezer until we were finished eating. When we tried them, the exterior texture was all wrong: dry and cracking. This was a real let down for us at the end of our otherwise tasty meal, despite missing the egg.

Nice rammen noodle shop, too noisy for my taste.

We visited Itto Ramen today and ordered the Itto Classic ramen. The broth was rich, and the seared pork belly had an amazing smoky aroma and flavor. Miss Sky kindly recommended the pan-fried dumplings, and they turned out to be incredibly juicy and delicious. Her warm and attentive service made our meal even more enjoyable. We truly had a great time dining here ❤️recommend 👍👍👍

Horrible service the girl came up to us took our order and before we could finish saying it she’s like “okay” and did a 180 and walked away. Interesting dress code as well. Ramen options are all pork except the seafood which isn’t good. I just don’t like pork

I got the specialty Joy roll. The menu said it was tofu, cream cheese, and crunch topped with avocado and sesame. it took 30 minutes to come out even though there were only three other tables of people for lunch time- My friends ramen came out 15 minutes before my roll. The roll I was brought had tofu cream cheese and avocado inside of it but nothing crunchy and nothing on top. I asked the server if this was correct and she said yes. When I read the menu to her she said she'd check in with the kitchen. she then brought me another roll which did have avocado on top but had soggy bread crumbs inside. it was edible but definitely not crunchy or what I would call a specialty roll. My friend wouldn't try it because she said it looked unappetizing. She liked her ramen though. So perhaps just don't get the sushi here (also the wasabi was greyish and dry)

They scrimped me on the amount of miso broth (didn't even go halfway up the noodles) and when I asked for more they wanted to charge an extra $5, when I said it was less broth than usual she (owner/manager possibly) wanted to argue about it. I've been ordering the same miso ramen bowl here for over 6 years and have noticed the amount of broth has been diminishing, but this time was by far the least quantity. Uggh.

Food gave me food poisoning and they had water sitting out and told me I can use that for refills. The water smelled like sewage; very concerning and would not go again.

I’ve been to every single noodle place in Asheville and surrounding areas. I’ve lived here for 21 years and remember when this place was the lucky otter that served burritos and quesadillas, this place is a waste of space. Food- ordered fries for 9$ and got a tiny plate. They were not salty at all and had almost no parm on them(parm was advertised) and the parm had no flavor. They served it with this “white sause” I swear to you it tasted like NOTHING they should use it as a palate cleanser at a winery because it’s so bland and sucks the flavor out of stuff. Moving on to the noodles…. My pork was burnt AND cold somehow. The noodle to broth ratio was wayyy off. And very very flavorless. Also overpriced. The serving size was ok . All the servers wore different outfits. No dress code at all. Like not even color. I get wearing what makes your comfortable and I have no problem with short shorts or being free. I worked in the front and back of kitchen, hell I used to be a hooters girl, I know fun. I also know when food is not up to standard, my advice? All servers need to wear the same name tag and maybe the same hat. Other than that it can be whatever. Just something. And the food? Add more toppings for free especially because it’s 16$ for something I could make at home for 5$. Also the broth needs to be more concentrated. This is not a hate review this is HONEST please make a few changes and you’ll see the difference.
