J mikes is one of my fav sub shops in town. I have been coming here for years. My last two experiences at their Hendersonville rd. location have been bad. First time I was gonna let it go, everyone has a bad day here and there. We come in 20 minutes before closing, gonna grab a sandwich and hit the road, no intention of sitting down to eat even though it would have been 5 mins tops. When the cashier asked if it was dine in/out. Before we could get a word out of mouths the guy who made our subs blurts, we close in 20 minutes. I said no worries I know yall are about to close we weren’t gonna stay anyway. Get our drinks, no tea. Today went back again today over an hr before closing, no tea again, not a single “hey how ya doin” or a smile from any of the staff. It was as if it was a burden to have dinner there for them. Customer service was trash. Will be driving across town to get j mikes from here on. Wouldn’t recommend.

Bathrooms nasty.guy used same gloves at the register, ciñurting meat and cheese, playing with his nasty hat, then an employee was in the di ing room screaming on the phone about dss taking her kids. I will never go back ever.
I’m less than pleased I usually love going here but to day I was told I would be charged an extra $1.40 for a slice of cheese on my tuna , in all the years an shops I have been to this just doesn’t seem right .as the counter person his delivery of that news was quite rude !!!
Very disappointed with speaking to the vice president of this location, Phil Dillingham. I had an issue with my order and regardless of whose fault it was, was met with hostility and disregard for the issue. I will not be returning and urge anyone ordering from this location to only order in-store, because if something is wrong based on pick-up/delivery, then it probably won't be acknowledged even with an apology if nothing else. Very poor customer service from the top on this one.
Really good subs
I put in a mobile order (1 sandwich, chips, bottle) from the parking lot when it wasn't busy, and walked in. While I was waiting, other people walked in and were served first. It took them 30 minutes to finish my order.

First off I always love the food. But the service is always so bad, they are always so rude and loud. We had this one girl who talked to us like we were an inconvenience to her day. She was rude and talked back. She made my decision to never go back. She also didn’t wrapped my sandwich tight enough it all fell out in the back.

Called for a large order(40 subs). Crew went to work and had subs ready about 3 hours later. Great team with perfect sandwiches and service. THX!

First time at this location. I got the Philly cheese steak. And it was pretty good. The manager greeted us. And it was a nice gesture. I would definitely recommend.

By far the worst location. Every time I order a gluten free sub on the app, they either have none thawed out but don’t say anything until you arrive on your lunch break to find out you’re screwed or it’s out of stock. I’ve ordered subs for my entire family on the app, arrived 5 minutes later than when it was supposed to be ready, and they hadn’t even started it. They instead took all orders from people in line who haven’t paid yet. Mine was ordered 35 minutes earlier and I paid! I love the River Hills location. Always on time, always has gluten free available and I’ve never had issues.

Great sandwich. Kudos to the young man prepping it on the grill. Went the extra mile and it was appreciated! The overweight lethargic kid taking my order acted like he was doing me a favor taking my order and my hard-earned money -this was over $50 for two sandwiches, one for myself and one for my wife, not including a 10% tip. Not a great recipe to encourage future business especially when I only treat myself a couple times a month to one of those giant kahunas. Would have only given one star if the young man at the grill had not done a fantastic job. It's a shame.
