After coming to Asheville twice a year for 5 years, I really regret not knowing about this restaurant before. Today we decided to stop by and we had an amazing dinner experience. Flavorful, fresh and served with an honest and friendly smile. Deserve the high reviews and a bit more.

Pros: very good food, delicious tres leches cake, owner was super friendly and remedied our issue quickly and happily. Our server was very nice. Chef Mike's sampler was good and mango habanero sauce on the chicken was phenomenal. Great sides.Cons: Hostess had a bad attitude and kinda threw our silverware down. They had a bad shipment of chicken that day that came out tough, but the flavor of the mango habanero sauce was phenomenal. The owner mentioned several folks had issues with the chicken cutlets that day and quickly brought me a new plate of food, the chicken tinga was excellent. Appreciated his quick fixing of the situation.

What a hidden jewel of an eatery! We found them when we came out of the LaZBoy showroom as they're across the parking lot.The food was top notch, the service was out of sight, and the restaurant itself was clean and attractive, with a soft buzz of satisfied diners. They have a nice bar and my husband enjoyed a refreshing sangria. Their food definitely was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. They served street corn prior to the meal instead of chips...Nice touch! I saw menu items I want to try next time.... ☺️?

So nice to have a places that there are a bunch of well thought out for us plant based folks or just people who don’t want to eat meat that day. Just make sure to ask for the menu. Really enjoyed the tostadas, yucca, and grilled veggies. Served was friendly and we had a great dinner. Looking forward to returning!

I’m often critical of Hispanic restaurants that seem to be made for white people. But this was just too good. Absolutely worth it. Service was great and even my 11 month old liked the meal. Will be coming back.

Menu is mainly from southern Mexico - similar to what you'd expect in many Mexican restaurants but the food is much better. Instead of the usually complimentary chips you get Mexican street corn.
