The food was excellent. Our kids even enjoyed their food. We had several dishes, and we can’t wait to go again. They were even so nice to sell us some peanut sauce to go. Anything with it is my go-to dish.

Excellent food. Best I have found in the States. Medium spice is no spice so Thai spice next time.

I've been here a couple of times but the khao soi stands out. First time having it but it was delicious! Pad Thai lovers should give it a shot!

Had the spring rolls, Drunken Noodles, and Khao Soi.
Springs rolls were standard, nice and crispy outside.
Drunken noodles were just okay. The dish lacked flavor overall.
Khao Soi could have been a show stopper if they used chicken drumsticks or thigh. It’s hard to find this dish, so if a restaurant chooses to make it I really wish they’d go the more traditional route with the cut of chicken, even if it requires an up charge. It makes a huge difference. The flavors were fabulous in the Khao Soi, so of they avoided the tough spices of chicken breast it would be a 10/10.

I used to love this place, before it changed ownership. It has clearly gone downhill.

I’ve dined in a couple of times since they reopened. Those experiences were fine. Not superb, but nothing to complain about. This review, however, is for a takeout order.

I rarely write reviews, but my most recent order was abysmal. I regret not taking photos, but I was so appalled in the moment that it didn’t occur to me. Even so, I won’t do them the disservice of photographing day-old food.

The order was to-go, which is likely part of the problem—although Thai food usually holds up well for takeout.

I ordered green curry, spicy basil Thai stir fry, and a rice dish (can’t recall which one). The rice was more or less normal. Not exceptional, but not worth complaining about.

The green curry had a grainy texture, and the liquid had separated. I understand some separation can happen as it cools, but this was greasy and oily. Unappetizing.

Worst of all was the Thai basil stir fry. I ordered it with chicken, as I have many times before. The chicken is usually sliced or diced. This time it was granulated, with a texture closer to ground beef.

Dining out isn’t cheap these days, but I don’t mind paying for good food. This felt like throwing money away. No one in my family could eat it. And with takeout, you can’t send it back—you’re stuck at home.

There’s nothing more disappointing than getting home, excited for a meal, and having to throw it away. In this economy, it’s genuinely heartbreaking.

It might have been a night where the restaurant was overrun from attendees from an event in town for the week. The food flavors were pretty good. The dishes did not have really any spice, but they had chili paste and red pepper flakes to add to taste. There was nobody to bus the tables, and no cups for the self-serve water. It was very loud, and I'm not sure if the seating was communal or it just happened to be the way tables were set up that night for large groups.

Love eating at this place. Try the Khao Soi. Only Thai place I can find that dish. Our waitress, Fon, was amazing and was nice to my son. Also love their Thai Tea!!! Can’t wait to get back.

I went to bee thai a few weeks ago and got takeout, the food was decent, could be more flavorful. The owner seemed rude and I witnessed him raise his voice towards employees. I did ask one of the severs if he was the owner to confirm and she said yes and was very sweet.

My absolute favorite place to eat! Bee Thai Kitchen never disappoints; the food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the love and care that goes into every dish. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and they always make you feel like family. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing takeout, it’s consistently amazing. I recommend Bee Thai Kitchen to everyone, it’s truly my go-to spot for great food and great people! They also placed GOLD in Best of Asheville for Thai Food.
