This was our first time there. We live in Asheville, and we let them know we were here for the first time. Ordering and paying were confusing. We got the family of four offer for $32. When We got home, I pulled out my baking scale, and to my surprise, my 1 pound of pulled pork was only 13.1 oz. In the container. The coleslaw and beans were just OK. The hushpuppies were good. If you're offering 1# of meat, at least weigh it.

This place is CHAOTIC with subpar food! It felt like a mosh pit of hungry people swarming the counter with no defined line or signage as to which counter to order/pay. Staff had to constantly holler above the crowd to keep control of the situation, which just added to the chaos and made for a very stressful experience. The ribs were just ok, but everything else (beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, chicken) was bland, not served at correct temperatures, and alltogether very disappointing. Will not return.

I ordered some ribs today and they weren't good at all. It's like they were braised in nothing but sauce. The texture was like pork pot roast and the sauce had a strange off flavor. My new England relatives cook ribs in a crock pot with BBQ sauce and it's about the same quality level. Disappointing from a place located in North Carolina. The pulled pork was a little better. Hush puppies were a bit greasy but tasty. The beans lacked flavor, tested like they were basically in ketchup. Service was great and fast.

Worst BBQ I've ever had. Ordered the pulled pork plate. Basically received mostly tasteless fat. Had to douse it in sauce just to finish it. Beans were ok. Hushpuppies were decent. "Order" of fries was like a handful of fries in a mini tray. Very disappointed.

Absolutely the WORST Ribs I have EVER had. Under cooked, and who in the hell puts vinegar in BBQ sauce? Total trash. NEVER COME HERE. My stomach has been hurting all night.

We got the Barbecue & Chicken Family Meal yesterday, and it was awful!!!! We’ve always loved their Chicken. We ordered it at Lunch time & it was all COLD! The Chicken & Barbecue tastes like it was old & greasy….can’t even talk about the Slaw & Beans & Hush Puppies! And we drove across town to get it!!!! Had to thrown it in the Garbage!!!! The worst part about it my Husband gave them a TIP!!!! $55.00 dollars down the Drain!!! Please BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
