We were referred by a friend to this amazing spot. Our server Riley was fantastic. They provided us with drink options, suggestions for apps, pastas, and beans. We took their advice and could not be happier. We did so. Each course was better than the last. Having said all of that, please try the gnocchi with carrots, Gorgonzola fonduta, pea shoots and a lemon butter sauce - it is to die for. Amazing food, service and treatment of everyone in our party - including my service...
We have dined at Luminosa previously and the food was incredible. A couple of our dishes stood out this time (the gnocchi and the rigatoni are both declicious) but over all several of the dishes didn't have a lot of flavor and were not what we would expect from the the restaurant. It was disappointing.
They really knocked it out of the park for us! Excellent service, beautiful surroundings and superior food choices. It was delicious. One of the best meals ever in Asheville or anywhere.
