My husband and I ate here this weekend for our first anniversary on our weekend trip to Asheville. We are both sushi lovers and have frequented many sushi spots around our home in Charlotte, my hometown in Florida, and most places we have traveled - this sushi is by far the best sushi we have every had. The sashimi and nigiri tasted like the fish had just been caught and the rolls were also incredible. We also got the bao buns and boom boom shrimp, and both were delicious. Our server was also very kind and attentive and made it a wonderful experience for us. We highly recommend!!!

Check your bill at the end of the night. Mine was $30 over my itemized bill and then when I asked about it I was given a lot of apologies and then another bill without the receipt for the credit from the original $30 overpayment. The food was really good and sadly that overtook The food experience. I was a single female sitting at the sushi bar on a Monday night so maybe they thought that I wouldn’t check my bill? I don’t know. I don’t want to think that they did that on purpose.

Ramen was very okay. Not terrible but definitely not authentic and rather overcooked.

The best sushi in Asheville. Me and my husband ordered sashimi the fish was so fresh and delicious. Despite them being super busy, the food came out very fast. Will be coming back.

Generally a nice place with good service. The edamame was good and the drinks were fine . The premium rolls were overpriced and fell apart easily. These rolls were not worth ordering.

Don't dine at Maguros if they're too busy. We had reservations and were seated promptly but the service declined rapidly from there. Our order was incomplete and even after notifying the server they were unable to fulfill it. The server said there was some tension btwn the front and back of the house.... They didn't serve one of our entrees and two soup orders. The server never checked back throughout the evening. They don't have the staff to accomodate a full restaurant or the sense to limit the number of diners so they can. No offer of compensation beyond removing the items from the bill. Will not be returning anytime soon.

I was in town for a concert and I was there for dinner by myself. All the servers were so kind to me! A lot of the time when I am by myself at a restaurant the staff don't really care about me but I was in a city by myself and I really appreciate them and their warm smiles! I had sushi n ramen n it was fantastic!
