We ordered delivery from here tonight at 7:00. It said it would be delivered at like 7:43. Then I got a text at 7:46 saying the order was picked up and is on the way and would be here in 14 mins. After 20 minutes I checked the location and they were still sitting at the restaurant at 8:05. I texted the driver at 8:05 and asked if there was a problem because it said it was on the way for 20 mins, no response from them. A few minutes later I checked the location of the driver AGAIN and they were at the VA hospital where they sat for SEVERAL minutes. At 8:23 the driver pulled into my driveway where they proceeded to let a SMALL CHILD bring the food to the door (mind you it is sprinkling rain outside). Anyways, the food is cold, the gyoza I ordered is not even cooked, and the sushi roll is being eaten with a fork because it completely falls apart when I try to pick it up with chopsticks.
We have eaten in person at this restaurant multiple times and it’s always been amazing, but they really dropped the ball on this delivery. Definitely won’t make the mistake of ordering delivery from here again.

The food was terrific. As an amateur pianist, I enjoy the soft music that complimented the environment. Inside and out (light rain tonight). Beautiful atmosphere and people.

I have only ordered take out from here once and it will be the last unfortunately. This photo is of a $10 eel and avocado roll. If you like expensive white rice, this is your place. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Amazing sushi, great sake selection! VERY fresh fish and ingredients. Top of my list of sushi places to eat in AVL.

My husband and I both ordered several sushi rolls. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh! The atmosphere was nice, with VERY comfortable chairs, though the music being all pop covers was a bit odd. The staff was attentive and friendly. The only real downside was that they used disposable chopsticks, which was disappointing for such a nice place.

All the staff are so kind and sweet!! Absolutely lovable. Good atmosphere. We got salmon roll and yellowtail roll. Black garlic ramen was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly. 10/10 experience. No wait on a Friday night around 7:30!

Officially a regular now. The sashimi deluxe presentation speaks for itself and it’s delicious. Very friendly service. Nice bar setting. I enjoy the ambiance with the music cover mix.
They opened 3 days after hurricane Helene hit if you can imagine. Support them - Definitely worth a visit.

Had an okay experience at this restaurant in Asheville. We arrived at maguro during the afternoon and were sat almost immediately. When we got to the table we noticed that there was an unusual smell and it immediately was a problem. We pressed forward with the meal but after we ordered we asked to move because the table was sticky with food from a preview diner. They just moved us to a new spot. There was some confusion with our server and our order and possibly because they didn't write anything down. However, the food we ended up getting was good. Even if it wasn't exactly what we ordered. There weren't a lot of gluten sensitive menu items, which was a disappointment. Considering all of the other places in town that accommodate people with digestive issues. It's 2025 and you would think a sushi place would be more understanding about those people who can't eat wheat. It seems easy to make the adjustment and almost 25% of customers prefer to eat gluten free food these days. However, when we left we felt mostly satisfied with our food, but we'll probably consider somewhere else next time we want sushi in Asheville, North Carolina.
