We went yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and I was hoping they might offer a small detail or gesture like they did for the people next to us who were celebrating a birthday, but that didn’t happen.
Even so, I definitely recommend this place.

The food here was delicious. I had a Bird Dog Roll and it's a new addiction. My husband had a roll with alligator tempura and it too was delicious. Juve was our server and was gracious and very helpful. It was our first time here and he was so helpful. Definitely will be returning

I had the most incredible bowl of ramen here! I had the Black Garlic Ramen with the black peppered steak, and everything in it was so flavorful, including the broth! Who knew Asheville has such a solid ramen scene! I'll definitely be coming back to Maguro whenever I'm in the area!

So we made reservations, got in immediately. But the sushi takes awhile for them to make, and if I'm honest it wasn't that good. The black garlic ramen bowl I had was fantastic. Bao buns weren't up to par. The people working there were working as hard and fast as they could. But there were just too many of us and not enough of them.

This is my favorite place in Asheville for sushi and ramen! Great place, great service, and the food is always fresh and delicious. They have an open kitchen, so you don't have to worry about cleanliness. The only thing I would suggest changing is the distance between the tables — they are too close together, and if the room is crowded, you can't hear your friends talking and you can't even enjoy the atmosphere because people can be very loud.
