It was worth the cost of downtown parking.Tacos, nachos and drinks that were really good.The nachos are huge and you pick your toppings!Going back for the fish tacos ? our friend recommended.The line moves kind of slow because they are making the food right in front of you, but it is worth the wait.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian here options were good.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants you'll find. It starts with the salsa, it's AMAZING. The orange salsa is spicy but also really good. The steak quesadilla was awesome. Highly recommended

The atmosphere is good with plenty of tables. It is a self-serve and no frills restaurant, but the food is very good. We had grilled shrimp and fish tacos and both were cooked quite well. The shrimp was not rubbery and the fish wasn't dry and both had a flavorful spice rub. The guac is top-notch. The tacos are somewhat small and next time I'll go for the burrito bowl. All-in-all, very good for the money!

While spending a day visiting Asheville we had dinner at Mamacita's Taqueria. It wasn’t busy when we walked into Mamacitas. I ordered the Black Bean Burrito ($8,95). My wife had a special vegetarian dish; black bean, sweet potato and avocado tacos. Our friend had Quesa-Taco Birea Tacos. With that you tell them what you want added to your tacos or burrito. My Black Bean Burrito had Pico de Gallo, Guac, Cheese and Onions. Plus I ordered a side of Plantains.The restaurant is casual with a good number of tables and a long counter to eat at. They have self-serve water available which is a nice touch. The workers were all friendly and happy to add the type and amount of the extras you wanted on your tacos or burrito.By the time we were done eating it was close to 5:00 and there was a long line to order your food. The line moved quickly. Most were taking their food to go.Kid-friendliness: There were a few children eating while we were there.

So excited I was working on this side of town this week I came in 3 times! ? Birria Tacos and chips and salsa twice. Birria burrito. Get is as a bowl. Then get chips and queso. It’s a build your own nachos. I love everything about this place!

Hands down the best carnitas, chips and queso I've had in my life. The queso has some type of flavor that I couldn't put my finger on but LOVED. I'm a Mexican cuisine lover and margarita connoisseur. Because the food was so good, I was afraid to try a margarita for fear I'd risk ruining a great dinner! We headed around the corner to Limones after for a margarita and dessert. Highly recommend splitting your date up that way.

We got the food to-go it didn’t take long at all and they were pretty busy. Everything was labeled. My bf food was fine but those were the worst birria tacos I’ve had in my life.
