Mary's Mountain Cookies

I visited this location on Saturday evening with my mom and sister. We came in after dinner because my sister wanted a cookie. When we walked through the door, no one greeted us — we were just stared at. At first, I brushed it off, thinking maybe they were just giving us space to decide. But when the next group walked in right after us, they received a warm and enthusiastic welcome. The contrast was impossible to ignore.

That made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. I ended up telling my sister we weren’t going to buy anything and left the store. Customer service isn’t just about making a sale — it’s about making all customers feel acknowledged and valued. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had here. Sweet cookies, bitter service.

Hands down the best cookies I’ve ever had!!! They’re made fresh daily and taste amazing. I tried a few different flavors, but my absolute favorite was the Woodstock (a snickerdoodle dipped in dark chocolate), and it was incredible. I also love that they have a section with bagged discounted cookies (3 in a pack), and they’re just as delicious. Can’t wait to come back for more when I’m in Asheville!

BIG Beautiful cookies. Super yummy. Perfect texture, definitely not too sweet or not sweet enough. JUST PERFECT. Also, great to share as a small treat with a friend❤️

A little place where you can pick a cookie then an ice-cream flavor and before you know it you have an ice-cream sandwich. Wide variety of cookies, they all looked great!

My Husband and I tried the Classic Chocolate chip and the Coffee Cake cookies. The chocolate chip was perfect, buttery, not too sweet and a good amount of chocolate chips - the Coffee Cake cookie was good but not amazing to us, the buttercream on top was clearly high quality which was a wonderful addition, just wasn't out preferred flavor.

We loved that the cookies are denser and not under baked feeling at all! We'd go back!

The people that helped me at Mary's Mountain cookies were so gracious and were able to personalize all of my cookies as well as wrap each individualized cookie in cellophane and have them ready for pick up. I am very grateful for Mary's Mountain cookies and will use them again for gifts in the future.

Was out and about downtown and popped in. Large variety of options to choose from and cookies are reasonably priced, considering that they are massive. 3 cookies took me 6 days to eat.
I got the smores, salted caramel and Chai and I really can't pick a favorite. I love how soft they were and still retained the freshness after going into the fridge and being warmed in the oven. Addictive!

A delicious array of cookies and sweet treats to enjoy while walking around downtown. Convenient location and super friendly staff. Chocolate chip is a must-try, but none of the cookies were less than awesome.

These cookies are just simply amazing. I got the cookies and cream cookie, it was huge. I wasn’t able to eat it right away, two days later it was still extremely soft and tasty. My son got the biscoff cookie and turned it into an ice cream sandwich. It was so good but soooo big!
