My husband and I love Mattie Lou’s! Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The biggest problem I have is not buying one of each item. My husband loves the peanut butter cookies and the biscuits. Her ham and cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had. I also love the brown sugar lattes. Mattie Lou has become our Friday must visit.

Mattie Lou’s has quickly become my new favorite place for all things breakfast. I fell in love with the morning buns initially, but I’ve tried a variety of items since that are incredible. Extra bump for serving cooperative roasters, a personal fav of mine. I’m sure the new breakfast items are great too, but I’m still working my way through the pastries!

There is a serious artist here whose work comes out of the oven! Their coffee game is ON too. They serve real breakfast meals which I love in a coffee/bakery spot. My husband and I have been finding AVL to be short on breakfast spots and now it’s our go-to. Definitely go!

Nice, friendly atmosphere. Good baked goods but they pale in comparison to the Owl. (Didn’t have breakfast)

We enjoyed our savory Danish and buttermilk biscuit with eggs, cheese, and avocado for breakfast. Everything tasted fresh. Would love to try more things from them

Holy guacamole this place is incredible! Got cookies, croissants, muffins.... it all was phenomenal. There are sweet and savory options, as well as drinks! 10 stars for everything!
