Got to meet Mattie and she is incredibly nice and the chocolate chip cookies are out of this world!

My husband and I love Mattie Lou’s! Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The biggest problem I have is not buying one of each item. My husband loves the peanut butter cookies and the biscuits. Her ham and cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had. I also love the brown sugar lattes. Mattie Lou has become our Friday must visit.

Mattie Lou’s has quickly become my new favorite place for all things breakfast. I fell in love with the morning buns initially, but I’ve tried a variety of items since that are incredible. Extra bump for serving cooperative roasters, a personal fav of mine. I’m sure the new breakfast items are great too, but I’m still working my way through the pastries!

There is a serious artist here whose work comes out of the oven! Their coffee game is ON too. They serve real breakfast meals which I love in a coffee/bakery spot. My husband and I have been finding AVL to be short on breakfast spots and now it’s our go-to. Definitely go!

So incredibly good! I got a few things because I wanted to try them all. Their croissant breakfast sandwich has to be one of the best in town. Cookie was insane, best I’ve had all year. Can’t wait to try the danish I got tomorrow morning for breakfast. Will be back!

Just have to update-- Mattie Lou now has the most delicious, fresh breakfast tacos and migas!!! I love Mattie Lou's-- Great coffee, delicious homemade flaky pastry, and smiling, friendly service. Easy to park too! I highly recommend.
