Me and my wife loved everything about this place. Located in the heart of the city. The service was A+ when we were there and the food was incredibly delicious! We will be regulars here without a doubt. If anyone is ever in Asheville, stop here for brunch. You will not be disappointedDietary restrictions: Had some gluten free options

First time here and I didn't want to carry a to go box so I opted for the side combo with bacon, asparagus and parm grits. It was the right amount of food for me and those grits were a creamy and luscious savory treat! Could have eaten more grits for sure!! Good enough to be tempted to try an actual entrée but if it ain't broke there is nothing to fix!! Ty!

If you are looking for a great brunch place to eat in Asheville try this little gem of a restaurant that has outdoor or indoor seating available. The outdoor seating is covered in the colder months with heaters out there. This establishment thrives on cooking Cajun style cuisine and I was throughly impressed with my shrimp po boy sandwich. The only disappointing part of the whole meal was they had bloody Mary's and I had one but it just tasted like they dumped tomato juice in it. Note to the owner by pre-mixed bloody Mary mixture, so at least it will have a good flavor.

Our favorite restaurant in Asheville. Lived in NOLA for 8years and Mayfield’s does it right! Stunning atmosphere and delicious food. You feel like you’re spending your brunch or lunch break in the French quarter.Dietary restrictions: Catered to my needs of needing a gluten free option!

We had a fabulous lunch, today, at Mayfel’s. The weather was rainy and dreary but the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting! We each tried something different and we were all happy with our choices. We ordered the Muffaletta with fries and asparagus as sides. The bread was toasted perfectly and the ingredient proportions were perfect. Ask for a side of the remoulade for dipping your fries?. The Central Grocery Muffeletta has strong competition? The shrimp Po’ Boy was as good as any from New Orleans - delicious! It was even served on a Liedenheimer roll; a must for the perfect Po’ Boy. The sides were red beans and rice which were perfectly seasoned with a spicy bite. The breakfast dish had eggs, andouille sausage, biscuits, roasted tomato and asparagus. Again, everything was perfectly prepared and it was nice to have both a breakfast or lunch option. We had excellent service and never had to ask for a drink refill or anything else. We rate this meal a solid 5 stars because it was a wonderful experience, food and atmosphere, in every way! We will definitely be going back!

This place is delicious! The gumbo was tasty and the crab bisque was phenomenal. My husband had the mufaletta, it was so perfectly balanced, the meats were super fresh and the olive salad was perfect. I had the brisket and grits, which were soo good! Shane was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. 10/10 recommend this place! The decor is super cute, I loved all the black and gold accents everywhere. And I love the New Orleans music that plays while you dine.
