Our server was anything but nice, she acted like she wanted to be anywhere but at work. No refills or anything. Some people got their own refills. And they were not busy. That was our last visit there for sure.

My wife and I went there as it’s a local favorite of ours, this last visit was great as always but the last few times we have been there I have at least one item that’s hardly even warm but they take care of it always which is great.

Their sausage gravy only had bits of sausage smaller than pepper corns and the gravy was bland with no sausage flavor. The biscuits were great however and their spiced apple topping was uniquely good.
So glad they were open for dine in, after Hurricane Helene. Good hot meals have been hard to come by.

Don’t go to the Moose Cafe unless you want to pay double what you normal would!! I just paid $10 for 2 cups of milk for a 3 and 9 year old. $10 and not even told before hand and the manager wouldn’t even listen to my complaint. 3 other customers were also complaining about the bill at the same time!!! Talk about trash service. Won’t be visiting there again. We are post hurricane helene in WNC and I get limited service, pricing differences etc. but the transparency was not there for what they are doing!

What an absolute gem. Being able to open up so soon after the devastating floods from helene provides some comfort to the locals and those traveling thru. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone in our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed their meals ranging from breakfast plates and lunch plates. The staff is very friendly and always walking around with a smile. Definitely a go to for breakfast if you are in the area
