So grateful to have this source of fresh, excellent quality, and good variety of seafood here in Asheville. As locals, we buy all our seafood here. One it's fantastically fresh and you can taste and tell the quality. Two it's supporting a local business and alternative to big grocery store chains. The prices may be higher than you pay at the chain grocery markets, but the saying "you get what you pay for" applies. When it comes to seafood and what we eat, clean food that's been handled with care matters. Plus you get 10% local discount with your Go Local card. Give it a try. The salmon, crab cakes, ahi and shrimp are divine.

The fam wanted poboys. Stopped in and got 2 catch and 1 shrimp along with hushpuppies. The catch happened to be flounder. Nicely cooked and the toppings didn't overwhelm the fish. The hushpuppies were delicious. The shrimp got 2 thumbs up also.

After vacationing and dining on fresh fish in Hilton Head, we were craving it at home. Even though locals, it was our first visit here. Found it through Google and were impressed by the reviews.We purchased fresh Trout, Halibut and Shrimp to cook at home.We were indeed impressed! Fish so fresh, there is no fishy smell. Shrimp were sweet tasting!We will indeed be back for more!Service was friendly.Inside the market is small, so it can get a bit crowded.Hubby wants to try cooked for lunch, but will carry out.(And for the owner, here’s my movie ?)

First let me say I had really high hopes by seeing some of the other reviews for this place. Without being said I can tell you that I am extremely disappointed. First first we'll talk about the service. I tried to call in an order. The gentleman that picked up the phone asked me what I wanted. I started to tell him. And he put the phone down and never came back. I was just a minute away so Is my daughter went inside and When he took our order he was very rude. He made it feel like it was an inconvenience he had to wait on me. Needless to say not a great first impression. We ordered the special which was poutine, A fish sandwich, Lobster roll, Some hash puppies and a clam chowder. Most of it was too salty to eat. The hush puppies were burnt as you can see in the picture. It's a shame really because I think the food would have been good if it had not been so salty. I don't often write a review this lengthy but the poor service and food had to be addressed.

Recently moved here from Connecticut and have been looking for a lobster roll/ seafood shack to satisfy my New England cravings. Don’t want to give a poor star rating cause I want to give it another chance but for a $30~ Lobster roll, didn’t expect shells in every other bite, which is a lot. Small and big, not even sure how they keep missing the big pieces. Was a very annoying experience and diminished the overall enjoyment. Hot NE Clam Chowder was great though. The front counter was very cramped and crowded making it feel very overwhelming and slow. I suggest an online or app ordering and prepaid queue to speed up the lunch line for quick pickup.
