Excellent quality juices and smoothies. I love them all! The peanut butter crunch bowl is my favorite. Love their energy bites too and every juice is so fresh and delicious!

this is the best smoothie place in asheville. it’s tucked away in odd location and is often empty but people need to start coming here. it’s cheap and delicious. please support local businesses and come here. you won’t regret it Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15

My go-to spot/stop here all the time. Been consistently good from the beginning and through 3 different owners. Have never found another smoothie place that even comes close to MJ in terms of quality or taste. They’ve always tried to source local produce when available. Sometimes it’s tough to get ripe local berries in the middle of winter, but apparently some people don’t understand that. Even in Dec/January tho, their smoothies are still delicious. Could not disagree more with the one star review above. If you need sugar added to your smoothie, this place isn’t for you. If you eat clean and want a quick place to stop, highly recommend adding Mountain Juicery to your regimen.

Nice clean place. But at the end of it all the only test is the flavor of the products. Being that its smoothies one would imagine the starting products (the fruits and veggies) to be the best possible. This means you would imagine the owner would make sure they are sweet and taste good. Well, this place doesnt agree. Why would a smoothie made with banana blueberries mango and strawberries taste absolutey bland without a smidget of sweetness? So much so that i had to ask for suagr and was looked at like a doink. Well perhaps im not the doink if i have to ask for sweetener for my smoothie. To most this would signify that the fruit is trash- Crappy, mass produced, unripened bulk corporate fruit is what they use here and your $10 smoothie will reflect that via its lack of any and all flavor. And in my opinion that is precisely what u will be getting here. Tasteless fruit smoothie. Yum

Love the smoothies, but they use way too much plastic. They should consider switching to paper cups. Also, they do not need to include plastic lids and straws with every drink, unless the customer wants them. Single use plastic is a big problem, small steps can make a difference.

My FAVORITE smoothie bowl place. I love the strawberry bowl. I was soo sad when they closed the one in Hendersonville, so I had to come to the one in Asheville in order to get my fave bowl!😊 quick service, and I sat outside on the porch and it was lovely.

I love this place! They use whole fresh fruits and veggies to make wonderful juices, smoothies and bowls. I don’t usually like watermelon flavored foods, but they have a watermelon bliss juice that is so good and fresh tasting.

Great smoothie, everything tasted fresh and they have really great flavor combos.

Amazing!!! The bowls are really good!!! The peanut butter crunch bowl is the one I get every time it is phenomenal. It's a really great place. The staff is nice and they make you food really quick. I would 1000 percent recommend coming here.

Whoever makes smoothies on Saturdays deserves a raise. They are always good but for the last few weeks every time I order on a Saturday, they are SOOO fire. Definitely made with love and I wanted that person to know how much I appreciate them!

MY family and I absolutely LOVE Mountain Juicery! The service is always top-notch—friendly, fast, and consistent—and they never miss a beat with our orders. I love that they remember my go-to smoothie bowl, right down to the chia seeds—it makes me feel like a VIP every time I walk in. This is exactly what a neighborhood spot should be: warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. We’re so lucky to have them in our community!

I discovered this smoothie place about a year ago, and I've been a regular ever since. The quality of the food has remained consistently excellent throughout this time. The smoothies and bowls are absolutely wonderful, and the employees are always efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who values healthy, delicious food. Plus, they are vegan-friendly!

first off, the seating.
it’s very obviously set up to NOT be used.
they want you in & out.
mountain juicery hasn’t been organic for years.
i’ve seen products peaking out from behind the counter & have tried asking many times with an odd confused response each time.
they sadly deceive their customers with false advertisement (on the road sign) & don’t care.
as someone who was excited to see a local spot that supported organic food, i am disappointed.
i’ve started conversations with other customers outside of the store as well, & they had similar experiences.
prices have gone up but quality has not, in fact, it has significantly dropped in the past few months.
the plumbing stinks at times, smells like it has been backed up for months.
i’ve also heard that they trash a lot of juices & stopped donating to a local non profit.
i'm all for supporting local business, but ONLY WHEN THEY ARE RUN WITH INTEGRITY & HONESTY.
Mountain Juicery, is not.
they do not care about their ingredients.
a shame.. & a scam. take your business to places that actually care about you & your health.

Although I'm not 'disgruntled', I am very dissatisfied with the way things are ran at Mountain Juicery. It's technically none of my business, but as a previous customer & a reviewer I do NEED to warn others! I followed an organic diet very seriously at one point & your business messed it up with false advertisement.

Nothing will change the fact that your customers are lied to everyday & you choose to not do anything about it. that's sad, ugly, & deceiving. lol. good luck!
