this is the best smoothie place in asheville. it’s tucked away in odd location and is often empty but people need to start coming here. it’s cheap and delicious. please support local businesses and come here. you won’t regret it

My go-to spot/stop here all the time. Been consistently good from the beginning and through 3 different owners. Have never found another smoothie place that even comes close to MJ in terms of quality or taste. They’ve always tried to source local produce when available. Sometimes it’s tough to get ripe local berries in the middle of winter, but apparently some people don’t understand that. Even in Dec/January tho, their smoothies are still delicious. Could not disagree more...
Love the smoothies, but they use way too much plastic. They should consider switching to paper cups. Also, they do not need to include plastic lids and straws with every drink, unless the customer wants them. Single use plastic is a big problem, small steps can make a difference.
