New Belgium Brewery in Asheville, NC has become a favorite stop when we're visiting Western North Carolina. The campus is fantastic, the beer selection is amazing, and there is ALWAYS something going on - food trucks, live music, farmers market, other events, etc. It's great fun to hang out there, grab a bevvie, and enjoy whatever is happening. On our most recent trip we did a brewery tour, which I highly recommend. It was fun and informative, with samples along the way. Loved it! The only tricky thing we've run across is the parking situation. The lot fills up quickly, as does the nearby street parking. Come early or be prepared to stalk for a space. It'll be worth it!

While bikepacking across the US I ran into a super steep hill that had me walking up it, and a local came and told me the brewery was less than a mile away! Super cool location, nice outdoor seating, super friendly staff, food trucks all over... This place is awesome!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Lovely setting, lively and kind vibe and good beer! Plus there was a farmers market when we went on a Wednesday afternoon. Very family and pet friendly.
Good variety of beers and all at a good price. Super excited for the plant based food truck that happen to be there today. And even has an entrance to the nearby park.

On June 18, I was running my two hound dogs on the greenway by New Belgium in Asheville when I got tangled in a leash and fell, breaking my femur. A few of their staff heard my wipe out and immediately came to help. They called EMS, stayed with me the whole time, kept me calm, helped manage one of my dogs until my girlfriend could get there, and even helped support my broken leg to help with the pain. I wasn’t there for the beer that day, but thank you to the folks at New Belgium. I won’t forget how much they helped me.
