Cool place. It's amazing that sober bars exist. (I said that 20 years ago, and nobody believed me). Thankfully there's no issue with alchemy here, but having recommended this place based on others' recommendations to countless people I've met through programs including the big one called life, I just had to go check it out. Great vibe. Cool house band. I'd read about Kava a bit yet nothing compares to the deft realization that kava is different to the palate and def it is not to be sipped leisurely like a good bourbon. This was a quick spur or the moment visit for the two of us. This bar was awesome! Plenty of places to sit and lounge. They have poetry slams, open mic nights, tons of couches, a ping pong table. I would definitely back here to hangout and grab a drink.

Awesome spot. Ping-pong, live bands, kava and kratom drinks.Vegetarian options: As there is very little food, vegetarians will have no problem.Parking: Small lot located beside the bar. Many times one must park across Biltmore Avenue, a busy four lane street near Mission Hospital.Kid-friendliness: Not an appropriate place for kids.

we stopped in while on vaca and the kavatenders were super friendly and informative about the extracts and CBD/THC laws in NC, as well as helpful in deciding which CBD drink variety would be best for me for the evening. the atmosphere was amazing here, too! super open and airy, plenty of seating, live music some nights. the location is also great because it’s not a busy area, and it’s off a street that ISN’T downtown.we got the iced kava mocha, but with cranberry/grape i believe. the chocolate and fruity mix was actually really good! it was almost like a chocolate covered fruit. i also got to try the peach kush sweet tea D9 seltzer, which put me OUT. LOL but this spot was the perfect night cap for our evening out in asheville!
