Great, friendly staff! After a terrible lunch experience nearby, this place truly turned our day around.

After a great dinner, we walked around checking out different shops and looking for a cookie to take back to our hotel. It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!

I was craving something sweet and asked a local where I could go and it was recommended for me to come here. I love eclairs but always cautious about it because sometimes the custard can be too thick. The woman at the counter told me it was a nice mixture of custard and whipped cream so I decided to give it a try. It was the best elclair I've ever had and maybe its a good thing I live in ATL because it is so good because I'd be here multiple times a week. The atmosphere was great as well. Enjoyed the smell of coffee, great pastries, and great conversations. Would highly recommend this place.

Old Europe has a wide variety of gluten free deserts. My favorite (not GF) is the hazelnut napoleon. It is so good the first time I had it that I went back the next day. I paired it with their dirty Chai latte and that was deliciously good! Not a big fan of macarons but they were good too.Definitely worth it

I was excited to try an old fashion coffee shop. Thought I would sit for a while and have a drink and pastry .. if all went well, walk out with a Chai. My hopes were dashed quickly. The staff did not want to be working today and certainly did not want to answer questions for the newbie. The mocha was a hot chocolate. Very poorly made with no coffee flavor. The cheese Danish had little filling and all concentrated in one corner. The space is small but cute ... six or so small Cafe tables and about a dozen high tops chairs around the wall. There are a few high tops at the front window, which was open on this damp and dreary day. Unfortunately, most people come to sit and work with very little turnover on the Cafe tables. Let's say I did not order the Chai before I left.

Old Europe supplied desserts for our dessert table at our wedding. Each dessert was delicious and looked like a work of art. We were able to choose from a wide selection of flavors with many options that were also gluten free and vegan. The staff was a pleasure to work with and our guests loved each and every dessert! Our personal favorites were the macarons, key lime pie, and hazelnut napoleon. I can't recommend their catering services enough - truly delightful in every way!

The new space is absolutely gorgeous! As a local, Iove being able to have a true self care moment of coming in here for a treat before or after my salon service next door at Ananda.

Delicious chocolate pastries and their hot chocolate is amazing. Everything is made in house from scratch and it's a great go-to in the morning, after lunch, after dinner, or even for a night cap. Theres a unique and sophisticated down-to-earth vibe I haven't been able to catch in other coffee shops plus, the staff is skilled, thorough, and charismatic!

A small but lively coffee shop with some nice European pastries. The quiche made for a taste morning snack.

Dream of this place when I’m not in Asheville. the most heavenly desserts ever and the price point is insanely worth it! each dessert was $6.50. the service is always great. there’s usually a line and it’s a tiny bakery so it can feel quite packed but it’s worth it and the line moves SUPER fast. they also have coffee and alcohol so it’s a great place to sit and enjoy a drink and dessert. Highly recommend!

Cute shop but we got several different pastries (tiramisu, carrot cake, peanut butter, cake) and none of them really had much flavor. They were pretty to look at but it’s Almost like they didn’t use enough sugar in them. Every item needed more flavor/sweetness.

Amazing pastries and great cofee. The service was great, quick and prompt. The vibe was positive, trendy, and hip. We came down from Chicago, jealous that we don't have one by us.
