Let's hang out in the basement
THE place to see live music downtown. Jules is a great bartender to boot!
Tasty brews and friendly service. I liked the basement atmosphere and my wife and I enjoyed playing darts!
Super cool, unique brewery. Take a walk down an alley and enter through a barrel shaped entry, down a few sets of stairs and then through a door and enter into a speakeasy. Space is cozy and dark, beer and service are very good.
Nick is awesome
Great beer and a great head brewer..
Underground bar, small brewery, really good beers, great bartender. Worth a visit
One of our fave breweries that we visited in downtown Asheville! You have to go down steps and through a door to find it, but it's worth it! Lots of great craft beer options that we really enjoyed. The brewer, Nick, was the bartender while we were there and we enjoyed talking with him. Highly recommend!
Great basement bar vibe
Great beer and a cool hidden away bar.

Very eclectic basement bar with a good list of brews. I could see this place being a blast in the evening.
Probably the worst brewery I've ever come across. Their lager tasted like grass? Like... distinctly like lawn clippings. Their bitter was was closer to a flavorless lager than anything else. If these guys spent less time virtue signaling about "stolen land," and more time focusing on great craft brewing, they might be able to make something good.
Notice the reply from the business to my review: they assume I have a hateful ideology that is the base of my issue with their work on their beer. It's this kind of thinking that will inhibit their ability to improve their beer. They highlight that their ingredients are local... So your ingredients are local lawn clippings? Thank goodness. And they advise that I not factor in political ideologies into my reviews of people's hard work. Is this an advice column? Or a place for someone to review your work? Whether you worked hard on it or not... Shouldn't matter if the product is bad. Your product is bad. I did not enjoy it. You don't need to give me life advice. I'm reviewing your product. Take the critique and try to learn from it. A bitter should be bitter. A lager shouldn't taste like a lawn. Get over yourselves.
Went to the downtown underground location. Friendly staff, fun bar games, and cold site-brewed beer. If it had a bed, I'd try to move in.
Super cool basement bar. Loved the atmosphere of walking down the stairs to this underground hangout. Their beer was delicious and unique. Also shoutout to their Seltzer which was delicious and not too sweet! We sat at the bar and got to talk to the head brewer who you could tell was very passionate about his job. If we lived in Asheville this would definitely be our hangout spot!
Great selection of delicious beer, cool atmosphere, and Brandy was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! Will definitely be back!
