The food is usually bomb. But tonight, my entire meal smelled and tasted like burnt popcorn. And it was Shrimp with lobster sauce and rice. Just disappointing

I don’t know if we got food on a “good day” or what but my bf and I moved here from NY. We were hesitant based on the reviews we read. But we have been searching for good Chinese food since moving. Other than the delivery taking almost an hour and a half, everything was great(we didn’t like the egg rolls but that might be us just being particular). Food was still hot even with the time it took to get to us. Definitely will order again!

I was in the restaurant and the owner got mad at an employee. The employee was trying to take care of an upset online order. The owner absolutely cussed the employee out and said he did not care about customer or their order. There was a delivery person in there waiting to pickup order, due to such an argument taking place he had to leave. Anyway the owners are very rude, nasty and unappreciated.Do not eat there

The food was terrible. So bad infact we vomited right after eating. Would never recommend to anyone. All our food came out with wrong sides. Egg rolls taisted like mush.

Worst customer service ever. They forgot part of my order, and sent the wrong drink. When I called to have them fix it, I was told that they were too busy to do it, and when I asked how long it would take to actually bring the food that I already waited an hour and a half for, the person I was speaking with started yelling at me, telling me there was nothing they would do about it. I will never order here again.

Well, here we are. Review time. I tried putting this off but it's time to let others know the truth.We have been eating here for years. Food was always great but... Over the past 6 months (maybe even longer) everything has gone downhill. Way down. Over spiced, over cooked, less vegetables, more money. I have read the other reviews left recently and I have to agree.The service is also lousy. Never the same employees which means high turnover. Orders are never on time. Even when picking up, they tell you 30 mins and it's over an hour later. Sitting in a freezing cold restaurant waiting for a Togo order.We gave it over six months to see a turn around but it continues to get worse. This was our last visit. Don't waste your time. Plenty of other places in Asheville that are much better.

Just not good. Overpriced and poor tasting. I just wanted some mediocre Chinese food, and they failed to be that. The service was great and I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the food was just really bad.

Be careful if you're picking up an order. Orders are often not complete. Quality has also gone down in recent years. Things often not cooked well, poor website descriptions, and dishes at a different spice level than advertised. Still some of the better Chinese food in Asheville, but no longer what they used to be.

Food was terrible.Ordered beef lo mein from Uber eats driver was friendly and food arrived in a timely manner. but the food was AWFUL.The lo mein smelled and tasted off. The beef was like beef jerky chips, dry and hard. It was like they literally took old food out of the trash and heated it up.This was the second time I ordered and the first time I received someone else’s order. They blamed the driver for taking the wrong order.I will never order here again. I paid $30+ for a pint of egg drop soup, ONE spring roll and lo mein I could not even eat. Of what I did eat I was bloated all the next day and eventually became sick. I know it was from the garbage lo mein. I’d rather go hungry than ever eat spoiled food from this place. O

It’s cheap and tasty Chinese food that has been my go to for over ten years. Not a place you go in to eat, most of those negative reviews are tourists upset about that. They also deliver or it’s super easy to pick up, much easier than dealing with Uber eats or grubhub. Once again, mostly angry tourists (or recent moves) complaining.Keep on doing you, Oriental Pavilion. Hail to the shrimp lo mein and sesame tofu!

Just called to complain because they actually sent me Mooshu chicken with Mexican tortillas instead of Chinese crepes. Guy on the phone said that how they send it now. Really? What a joke. Last time y'all ever see my money. Morons
