Very small and charming. Long waits, but you can reserve online. Excellent eggs Benedict. Not sure how they are dealing with Covid-restrictions in such a tiny space. Hope they make it.

Asheville classic. I'm so bummed to hear they are closing. They really had a way of bringing breakfast to life with extraordinary ingredients. Not your grandmas breakfast and done with a southern flair that's unforgettable. I've had farm fresh veggies here id never heard of before as part of a meal and loved it. Truly sad to see such a unique restaurant leave the downtown Asheville scene. Best wishes!

This is a must eat place for breakfast! I happened upon this place after a recent extended weekend vacation to the area. The food was so good that I returned twice more for breakfast during my trip. First, the food. The first day I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which had amazing flavor. The flavor combination was amazing! The pepper crema provided some spiciness (don't worry, it's not very spicy) to the dish. The other ingredients resulted in a creamy tasty texture that melts in your mouth. The second and third days I ordered the Southern Biscuit Sandwich which was really good. The goat cheese and pepper jelly flavors blended perfectly, giving the dish a unique flavor that I haven't tasted before. It's a sticky and tasty treat - definitely try this dish out if you're looking for a handheld breakfast to eat on the go. I also tried the pimento grits and seasonal fruit bowl - both of which are excellent side dishes that I highly recommend. The key common theme for all the dishes is the care and attention paid to the ingredients and preparation. Secondly, the customer service is AMAZING! They remember your name and make absolutely sure that your food preferences are honored. It's very hard to find that personal level of service in the food industry, even in the middle of a pandemic when you would think that restaurants would pay particular attention to such details. Overall I can't recommend this place enough. Great food and personal service - two attributes of a truly impressive restaurant!

We picked up take out because that's all they're offering at the moment but it was perfect for us because we took it on our way to a hike for some fuel. I had the egg and cheese on a biscuit with gouda - MMMMMMMMMMMMM!! That's really all that comes to mind when i think of biting into that amazing sandwich. My husband had the huevos which he said were the best he's ever had! Pimento cheese grits were also good - maybe could have used a touch of salt or more pimento ontop because they were a little bland. My coffee was kinda watery and tasted burnt but not complaining because breakfast was great!

A classic Asheville location, has been great since the first time I went (over 2 years ago) and now even with covid. it's now my regular Saturday morning breakfast, and still amazing. Not to mention the staff, especially Rainy, is so nice! Definitely worth the wait

Very much open during Covid, and they have extra seating around the block. The food is excellent (try the Benny and the grits, maybe with a bit of their homemade habanero hot sauce), and the staff is incredibly friendly. All of the to-go containers and cutlery are compostable as well; I wish I could add bonus points.

One of the best restaurants in Asheville and one of my favorites. They have the best ingredients, seasonal dishes, and drinks. The presentation is beautiful, you'll feel spoiled. It's a small place and has a really cool light atmosphere inside, but during Covid-19 I believe it is take out only which is disappointing but they are taking the right precautions!

Unexpected excellence. Online ordering only due to covid, so you don't have to wait there at all if you don't want to. We ordered around 9:30 and it took 30 minutes on a Sunday morning with half of the outdoor seating occupied, which I thought was reasonable. Staff were very friendly

Its been a couple years of trying to go to Over Easy and the hassle is very much alive. The time it takes to get a parking spot, a seat inside and fins out itll be 75 minutes isn't worth the trouble.

Great breakfast/brunch spot. Try some local North Carolina specials like the NC crab and grits!

Oh my goodness. This food makes you smile!!!! I mean so delicious I was making sound effects. Pictures is the seasonal eggs benny. Strawberry basil preserves, goat cheese, greens, flowers, pickled onions, homemade biscuits, ham... egg cooked perfectly with delicious hollandaise--- perfectly balanced salty, sweet, savory, spice...nomnomnom. This is and has always been my fave breakfast place in Asheville. I no longer live here but anytime I am in town. My go to must have spot.
