I got an iced mocha in the bright early morning when it was busy and the customer service was stellar despite the rush-hour. Coffee was Amazing despite being a bakery first. I do believe they use methodical coffee based out of Greenville and I have always loved your coffee choices!

Tried the wheatless squirrel bread since i'm GF. Overall it's really good and i love all the seeds and heartiness to it. Sliced well, toasted nicely. Just a little too much fennel gives it a strong licorice flavor which clashes a bit when used as sandwich bread and whatever your eating it with.

I haven’t stopped thinking about the rose almond croissant or cardamom bun all day. Hands down, these are easily the best pastries I’ve ever had. The Owl Bakery knows exactly what they’re doing! I’m already planning my next trip to Asheville so we can have their pastries again!

Had high hopes for the croissant here after reading the reviews. The almond croissant tasted more like bread than buttery laminated goodness. 🫤

Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The morning bun was incredible. My daughter loved her London fog latte and blueberry danish. Husband had drip coffee and vegetable streusel which he loved. My daughter and I had the chocolate crosant and my son had the morning buns.

You know that picturesque image of a small cute local bakery that comes to mind? The one with phenomenally fresh breads and pastries? Like Kiki’s delivery service quaint? Well that’s pretty much what OWL bakery is.

Nestled in west Asheville, this bakery is serving up fresh baked goodness. The lamination and crunch on these pastries are phenomenal. Sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. I had the strawberry danish and was very pleased.

I also had a morning bun, which was delicious. These sell super fast, so if they have them you want to grab one.

They’ve also got fresh quiche, but order ahead or come early because that’s a very popular item. Fresh bread is also available and highly recommended, just like everything else.

This is a must stop for us every time we are in the area.
