Full transparency: my husband and I originally came here to order some pastries, especially after seeing how delicious they looked online. Unfortunately, they had already run out by the time we arrived. We didn't want to leave empty handed, so we both decided to try one of their drinks. My husband ordered a hot chocolate and I ordered a brown butter chai latte. My latte was super creamy and had a nice buttery flavor at the end. It was divine! I do hope to return soon and try some pastries next time.

yummy food, bit crowded/ small space. some staff members maybe need more training. like that they donate to ukraine.

Master class pastries, simply perfect, and very good coffee, they need more space as it was very crowded and sitting inside would have been impossible but a perfect place to pick up morning baked

Great coffee and pastries, friendly staff. Building is small, so very limited seating inside, so be prepared to have to sit outside or take it to go.

The pastry chefs here are doing amazing things- no exaggeration, rivaling Europe's best. The savory danish is a unicorn bakery delight. Also, the best espresso I have tasted in years- full of bright citrus notes.

These people seriously know how to bake. That may seem like an unnecessary statement, but not all bakeries have skilled and artistic professionals like OWL Bakery does. They have a passion and love for the craft, and it shows in the baked goods they produce. Hands down, come here and get some of the highest quality baked goods you'll ever taste... then get extras to take home!

Excellent pastries and staff that are kind and accommodating! There is never a rush and if you are fortunate you may even score a day old loaf of one if their specialty breads. I got the chocolate, dried cherry, and walnut bread and it was yummy.

We are new in town. Everyone we know raves about the OWL....and for good reason. I walked over from our little rental bungalow to see if the hype was for real. I bought a single item to transport home to share with my wife. The OWL is an Owlstanding [forgive the pun -- maybe the delirium from a first bite -- bakery based on our little sample and we imagine will intrigue us on all the other baked goods.I was holding off on my review but had to commend the staff. I paid in cash and asked if there was a tip jar -- the response was that tips are built into the price. Cool...we always tip well but the built-in tip addresses the rampant issue of tip shaming. We will be back.

This coffee shop/bakery is outstanding, rivals any great European bakery. The pastries are delicious and the orange blossom cappuccino is outstanding as are the different breads. My only regret is that I live 2 hours from this place!!

Prices are kinda high but that’s Asheville I guess, latte was ok, same with cold brew. The Ukrainian cake was great, choc chip cookie was not great. Would try somewhere else before I’d come back but was a cool spot.

We had a chance encounter with this bakery as we were looking around for a morning coffee and a treat. This is the cutest little bakery I've ever seen. Everything smelled GREAT, from the coffee to the baked goods, even the bathroom (it had a little diffuser in it with peppermint oil or something; it was lovely). I had the buttered chai, which was absolutely soul-warming. I also had the ham and cheese croissant and morning bun. Honestly, it was the BEST croissant I have had in my life. I spent the rest of the trip thinking about this little breakfast treat spot. You will not regret it. It seems like a spot that locals like, too.

The cutest little bakery! We only stopped through for a few pastries before leaving town, so unfortunately we didn't get the ~full~ experience. But these pastries were MOUTH WATERING. The servers behind the counter - SWEET AS CAN BE.

Great bread! Very cool place. Lots of tasty croissants, but the multi-grain with seeds....

So glad I found this place on Yelp. We stopped here on our way to a hike in the Black Mountain area and it was delightful. Busy, but a very short wait, you could tell this was a popular place with lots of regulars because everyone knew what to order immediately. Me on the other hand, I had to take everything in while I was in line and make a snap decision. Luckily, you can't lose. I had the gougere, the almond rose, and the chocolate croissant. All delicious. When a croissant is executed correctly, there's nothing better. Along with a great cup of coffee, this was a lovely breakfast on the go!
